Do you feel the Fox story is an honest portrayal of the facts?

OP would like us to believe she's driving when it's her security team. Probably cops or former cops.

Did the OP say she was? It was intentionally worded so as not to give the impression she was driving.

Since when is the passenger of a vehicle responsible for the driver's ticket?

Must be a slow news day for Chicago crime if this is what makes headlines

One would think the Mayor would be responsible enough to address this issue.

Two of the speed violations committed by Lightfoot’s SUVs reportedly occurred in school zones and the citations stated that school children were present.

"No one likes speed cameras. I get it," Lightfoot was quoted last month. "But this is life or death that we’re talking about here, and we’ve got to step up as a city and address this."

Wait a minute. Aren't you Blue Lives Matter? These are police driven vehicles. Take it up with the cops.

Well the government should pay the government for these tickets and we will finally have justice.

No actually the driver of the government vehicle should pay the ticket unless Mayor Beetlejuice has excused them in which case it is on her. When I drove a county vehicle for 25 years I was responsible for any tickets I got.

Red light cameras charge the vehicle owner. They read the tag number. Right or wrong that’s how it works.

If the vehicle owner isn't the person driving, you can't charge them.

They were official vehicles owned by the city and driven by the police so I guess that the city government should pay fines incurred by the city government to the city government. From another article on the same subject.
'Lori Leadfoot' is racking up speed camera and red light tickets that go unpaid, city records show

By the way @Gator515151 don't you think your original post was just a bit deceptive implying that the redlight camera tickets were issued on vehicles driven and/or owned by Lori Lightfoot?

I'm going to complain about your post because the mods call me out when I do what you just did. Go back and read my post #7 you intentionally left out the first sentence of my post that refers to post #6 directly above it I am the OP mentioned by G8R92. Those quickly giving you Agree and fistbumps have no clue that they are agreeing to a false statement. My reply to post #6 was right on.
