Definitely not predicting a UK win, but could see it. Stoops is going to have his defense ready to go. Levis hits a couple of shots, who knows.

Yep, money is the only factor now for most. Very sad. As far as his sudden love of UT, it's an interesting "coincidence" (assuming that he is talking about TN vice TX) that UT is still under the spotlight with the NCAA for $60K in illegal payments to players by the last staff.

Totally agree on both counts. Incidentally, it was the Vols, which is even worse than the short horns in my humble estimation.

It only takes a couple mistakes to turn a 14 point win into a loss

Anyone who believes that Kirby is an elite head coach needs to watch the second-half of the 2019 South Carolina game.

The man needs an overwhelming talent advantage to make games competitive for him. Last year, he needed the best college football defense in the past 11 seasons to do it.

His defense had 7 of the top 102 picks in last year's NFL draft, including five first-rounders. They return 3 starters this year on that defense.

Stetson Bennett is mid-tier. I could see Georgia losing 2 SEC games and maybe Oregon (but Oregon sucks)

Or a couple of great plays to turn a solid 7-14 point win into a 28 point butt whipping. In the fullness of time, all will be revealed. :)

Sooo your point is that a top tier recruiter needs top talent to win? Ok...

look, I don't want to carry water for uga but your statement doesn't really make me feel any better about kirby at uga and what that means for the Gators

if kirby suddenly becomes a poor recruiter then maybe I'll take some solace in his coaching not being elite. Until then...

A coach's job is not only coaching on the practice field and during the games, but it is also evaluating talent and recruiting the best players for his team. To isolate it and say, well he can only recruit is wrong when he wears a NC ring. Are all of Saban's based solely on recruiting?

John Wooden won with great players, but he also coached them well, both on and off the court. They wanted to play for him, he kept talent motivated and improving.

Personally don't mind losing LeBlanc because I like Kamran James just as much if not better. Not only that, with their proximity to Gainesville, we should be able to get both Walker and LeBlanc on campus during the season and continue to work them if the staff still rates them like that as the season goes on

Yeah, it's more like "all thing$ equal I'd choose my dream school, but they better not try to undervalue me" warning.
We hope guys like these won't play games with us, like the Rashada types, but the reality is that prices are already overvalued and it's sometimes hard to compete against billionaires that consciously throw away money for bragging rights, not profits.
