What time do Kirkland and Bryant commit today?

Don’t forget adding Defensive tackles. Need 3 in class and don’t think we have any yet.

He will grow to a DT. Reminds of Dexter in some way. Hoping we can hold others off as if he hasn’t been coveted yet he soon will be. I mean, I know many schools want him but right now my question would be Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, and Ohio State come calling hard? If they haven’t you would have to think they soon well because this kid has as bright of a future if not brighter than anybody in our potential class.

I kind of see a Zach Carter type....but with more explosion/agility. That may keep him outside, but I guess that depends on how he develops

Already 265-270. Outgrows DE position imo. Easily could be 300-310. Great to see if could occasionally slide to DE but don’t see too many at 300. Carter was 280-290 but could also run a 4.9 at that size and moved really well. May start out at DE but again, think he slides inside. Coaches would more than likely see most value ( due to major depth issues this year and next unless we hit portal really hard) inside. Dexter gone after this year is major concern.

Kevin Carter started at DE in the NFL and stayed outside even at around 290. Eventually moved inside as he got to be over 300. He came out of high school at 235.

Good point about the other schools going after him as his stock rises. Recruiting success so far has been with prospects in the bottom half of the four star range, seemingly below the threshold of bidding wars. He looks all Gator right now but the longer he waits to commit, the dicier it gets. He's a bit of a unicorn with his length and athleticism.

Saw him play in high school in Tally, athleticism was ridiculous.

Some good news is that Bryant has pushed back his date. Maybe his heart says UF?

Wallets tend to be bigger than hearts at 17. Sigh.

I didn't factor in any potential transfer or juco guys that will come up on the radar. And honestly I just put that together on a whim off the top of my head

Expecting Bryant and Collins is a bit optimistic but the rest of your board looks just like mine.

I am an optimist. But they also play different positions don't they? Thought we were recruiting Bryant as a LB amd Collins for the DL. Collins is listed at 280 now so I wasn't thinking LB for him.

Hopefully he’s a combo of Aaron Donald and Reggie White. Just line up wherever he wants and destroy whichever three guys on his side of the line.

Except Wilson, Searcy, and, Webb (our top three recruits), not to mention Denson, Hill, and Stokes.
