12 is young. They can't even consent to sex in Alabama until they're 16!

Neil Gorsuch would love this test case to resurrect Lochner and the freedom of contract

Caveat: If they are an immediate family member they can consent to marriage at 12, and then sex may follow.

I was once told the only acceptable lie, was lieing about your age to get a first job. This is a bit of a stretch tho.

Kids cost a fortune unless you can make them work. Just imagine how many more will be in the workforce with limited birth control.

That clearly is against the law except in some family business situations, which would not apply to Hyundai. They should be heavily fined.

Why should we punish a company for creatively finding ways to overcome the labor shortage?

I would have loved it when it I was 12. I remember begging several local farmers to hire me to work in their tobacco fields so I could make some money. Got hired as a "hander" (picked tobacco leaves off the table and handed them to a "stringer" who then strung the tobacco leaves on tobacco sticks which were then hung in tobacco barn for cooking). 10-12 hours a day. Next year I graduated to "cropper" and made really big money, 15.00 a day!
