Actually, that's me; I don't even miss watching the NFL, and there was a time when I knew every coach, player, and team owner. I even knew the salaries of many player's, and thought John Brodie, $200,000 a year salary, was paid too much! Now, I am wondering, how much longer will I watch CFB before I realize it has been ruined?

“Bryant currently has a commitment announcement and ceremony scheduled for Saturday evening up in Central Florida. That’s one I would watch. Not because of the school he chooses but more so if he chooses a school at all. Florida, Miami, and Maryland are battling it out here but I still like the Hurricanes whether or not he makes that decision on Saturday or not. As things stand currently, Bryant and his camp have held on to that Saturday commitment date. Just keep an eye out on that situation over the next 24 hours.”

Who was that quote from, Bobby? The part about "if he chooses a school at all" is kind of bizarre.

At this rate it's easier to say which states don't. Texas and Florida are the Major ones not on board..... yet.

It seems like Florida was actually one of the earlier states to enact NIL legislation, if I recall correctly. We apparently need an update already, though.

Do we need different legislation to recruit better? Or is the current legislation an attempt to do it right?

If you know the answer to that, please let us know. Nothing make sense when you're giving the farm to the farmhands.

Did you stop watching movies when actors starting getting big bucks? Tom Cruise made over $100,000,000 on top gun maverick alone. Does the money actors make lesson your joy of movies?

A few states, Florida being one, were the firsts to allow NIl and legislated rules ahead of the NCAA doing so. Once the Supreme Court ruling came about, states that did not legislate anything now just follow the ncaa rules that are somewhat less restrictive than the early adopters of NIl. So for a brief moment, Florida and Texas and a few other states were out ahead of all other states…and due to the legislation they did pass, their legislation is now putting them behind those who had none.
