He was okay before he decided running for president as governor and going full on culture war was his path. No all he does is culture war stuff and he's just another caricature of the modern GOP
You are certainly allowed your opinion. But no way will I vote for big-gov Ron who is blatantly only supporting 30% of American cultists. I want a president who supports Democracy, truth, has integrity and would support the majority of Americans. And that is definitely not big-gov Ron.
Great if you like sticking it to the gays and banning books, not so great if you like democracy, affordable housing, the environment or a functioning insurance system
Too bad. You are tied to Don like an anchor. Polls are wrong though. The uneducated men love Don. Republican Voters on Their Preferred Candidate for President If the Republican 2024 presidential primary were held today, who would you vote for if the candidates were: Don 49% Ron 25% Ted 7% Mike (VP) 6% Nikki 6% Mike (SoS) 2% Half of G.O.P. Voters Ready to Leave Trump Behind, Poll Finds
A president who will support the majority of Americans? I think what you really meant is who will support the majority of libbies. It’s ok, we know what you meant.
I think this board has moved you over the years to become a strong libbie. I guess everyone has their goals in life.
Virginia was a prime example of Americans wanting our politicians to push back on the culture war the left has been waging for a while now. Why the left continues to deny this is amazing to me.
DeSantis is much like Trump in that he only hears what he wants to hear and banishes people from his circle if they try and provide him an alternative point of view than his own. That and he tries to use the power of the office to punish those who disagree with him. Also uses gubmnt authority to try and enforce a far right agenda, regardless of legality, in order to pander to the base.
I agree with pushing back on the nuttiness. I don’t like that they are almost creating a religious war to do it. I do recognize the political effectiveness of this strategy. I thought Ron started out pretty strong in the beginning on being more neutral. Now…
The party may not be exactly the same as you prefer, but you seem to side with the libbies on the board more often than in the past. Certainly you could choose to relate to conservative people and ideas and also be disappointed in the leadership? I know there are many here who dislike Trump but haven’t turned full libbie. Not saying it’s wrong, I’m just surprised how often you entangle with conservatives more often than the libbies.
He likely would be if not for DJT. DJT will win the nomination again, and if Ron is smart he’ll duck out. Not a single person who has come within 50 feet of DJT has ever washed away the stench. The best available career path after a DJT encounter is a predetermined outcome like Lady Huckabee becoming Arkansas governor. And that’s the end of the road for her too unless she’d downgrade to one of their predetermined congressional seats. Her national profile is forever stank. Most don’t have those daddy connections to work that landing out. DeSantis will likely work himself right out of his current job with a public DJT dumb-off. DJT has already poisoned the well, even the Q boards routinely call RD “shill” and have started the pedo stories that become fact in minutes in the MTG/Boebert/Gaetz/Hawley/Jordan parts of the GOP.
You know Ron is hoping the commission damages Trump enough to clear his path. He is just sitting on that sidelines while playing the long game.
