Guy played us for more money - and committed to scUM of all stupid places to try and force our hand. His lawyer posts lies and implicates UF in the bullshit. I hope Napier is done with this guy - thinking the bullshit/benefit ratio is probably >1.0

EDIT: These comments made at 3 am were pointed at Rashada, not Kinsler

Kinda looks that way with the limited info we are privy to. It’s a dumb rule that coaches can’t speak on kids.

Could be more to it than we know. I trust Napier’s judgement on this I guess. But Yepper… same here.

When did he commit to UM? He committed to UF, visited UM, de-committed from UF, and has a final three of fsu, UF, and UM. I’d prefer we move on but he didn’t commit to UM (yet anyway).

people get so bent out of shape when a kid decommits - from UF. Every kid who decommits -and especially if they commit to a rival afterwards - it’s like the end of the world. It happens both ways all the time - but players who are committed to other schools and decommit and choose UF later - they are heroes.

im the biggest gator homer there is and I hate UM and FSU and Tenn and pretty much every school we play…and I got irritated with the Kinsler drama…but eh, he goes, he stays, whatever.

just seems we get a little riled up like this doesn’t happen everywhere, similar to how apparently some think only our rivals are paying players and all players choose UF for their love of the program. Lol

Yeah, this has a little stank IMHO. I saw his mug with his new potential suitors listed. Can't come back after you pee all over where you sleep; can you?

Anyway. I had two pancakes for breakfast, two eggs over medium, a gooey cinnamon bun and coffee.:p

    Go Gators.;)

Hard pass. We need players, not problems.

Some act like they never second guessed a decision. None of us are privy to what really happened. If we are still recruiting him let’s stay on board with the coaches

Skink all these players are negotiating! It’s the new era . This guy is a good OL. I say let’s keep going after him. Remember Fred Taylor did the same thing.

He wants to be at scUM...... He is a Plan B (maybe Plan C) player for scUM...... This is the ONLY reason he isn't currently committed to the canes...... UF is a Plan B (maybe Plan C since he's also flirting with f$u) for Kinsler...... The only reason the UF staff is still on him is because our OL board is trash..... The only way he ends up at UF is if he isn't allowed to commit to one of his favorites...... It'll be really sad if we get spurned by a 3 star recruit TWICE......

BN strikes me as a man of real character who demands the best of himself and those around him - and there is nothing mean or vindictive in that at all. If it does turn out that things are not as they appear from the outside (extenuating circumstances, youthful indiscretion, being unduly pressured, etc.) then I could see a man of BN's stature overlooking a poor decision and giving it another shot with this kid. But if this guy is suspected by the staff of "gaming" us, that's a very different story indeed. I seriously doubt that a HC that has already cut loose some pretty good players and at least one or two highly ranked '22 recruits (due apparently to a perceived lack of commitment to the team concept) will bring in a kid who doesn't seem to care too much about that stuff. Rebuilding a failed culture with a new one based on integrity, discipline, team cohesion and loyalty to the program can be hard under any circumstances. Having the wrong people in the locker room can make that task all but impossible. I personally trust that BN will make the right decision - one way or another.

    Okay...

I retract everything that was negative. Times are a-changing...no doubt about it! If the coaches want this kid, then we have to assume he's solid. But, I'm not privy to the truth. I assume we'll learn soon. We need team players. Dedicated Gators. It's just anytime Miami is mentioned I throw up a little in my mouth.

    Go Gators:)

Screw the games especially with all the bullshit from his stupid lawyer about 5 million, 11 million, whatever. I’m hoping Napier has this team thing in the locker room figured out and I don’t think this greedy BS has any place in it. But as said above, if CBN still wants him then who am I to disagree?

Skink, who are you posting about…Rashada or Kinsler? Rashada had the lawyer saying UF offered $11m. This thread is about Kinsler, who just decomitted and said we didn’t offer him anything after visiting UM.
