I'm okay with the idea of compensation. College football is a year-round grind. 20-30 years ago, that wasn't the case. But, as with anything, once the box is opened it can get crazy.

 

Just beat georgia. 10 wins would be phenomenal but a tall order. I do believe other staffs are poo pooing what they believe will be our offense- our unknown, maybe not ready for SEC play offense, vs their established offense.

We play two teams ahead of us in recruiting rankings, georgia and Toothlessee. Big games.

Truthfully, I wish my kids had that problem. I’d let them take their chances.

Lots of fathers do - that’s part of the problem

 

The main problem I see is that there is no salary cap and the parity will not be there. Make a salary cap and 20 million bucks or whatever the hell figure you want to come up with and everybody is on the same page. I’m trying not to pay them as how they got in this problem in the first place. Amateur/professional? Whatever. It’s a billion industry and the players are 50% of that if every other pro league in the world has their ratios right. Although I don’t watch the NFL, they at least have that part right unlike major league baseball who lets things basically try to buy championships.

 

I’m pretty sure I won’t care because I’ll be dead.

 

They are still getting all those things plus getting paid for NIL.

What's gonna happen when you have teams loaded with high paid spoiled 18 year olds and they go 8-3 or even 7-4??
Not too sure that those who dropped millions this year will do the same next year.
