Actually, most of the anti-vaxx, if not all, are not insinuating, they are boldly stating as fact. Here is just one gem from only a few pages ago in this very thread.

Yes it isn’t dangerous to healthy children. Thanks for confirming.

The only insinuation is that the data reflects Covid is not dangerous to healthy children. They are in far more danger from driving in the car/swimming in the pool/etc than they are from Covid.

Taking that line and saying that people are inferring that no healthy child will ever have a bad outcome is disingenuous.

The vaccinate only crowd regularly claims they had a less severe outcome with Covid because they were vaccinated. They do not know that. Shoot in England 96% of the most severe outcomes (death) from Covid were fully vaccinated in April and May.

What we know is there is a huge risk gradient based on age and certain comorbidities. And healthy children are in no real danger of Covid based on the data (of course there will be very rare times this is not the case and the new drugs may or may not have made a difference). And considering the new drugs are not stopping kids from getting Covid and most have had Covid (omicron or subvariant to boot)…I agree that it makes no sense to put a child’s body to work unnecessarily.

I dont necessarily 100% trust this one for my kid. No. Trust in the unknown is never 100%

I feel bad for those parents who want to vaccinate their kids under 5 and are having trouble getting an appointment because the health department doesn't have any

Here's the thing. That vaccine was "approved" on an emergency basis. Where is the emergency for young children and covid? There isn't one. There is a reason only around 3% of parents have gotten their young babies vaccinated for covid. There was no data that showed the vaccine helped young children. Most of the world isn't vaccinating young kids. Wonder why...

No the issue is there are parents that are CHOOSING to vaccinate their kids with something that has been Federally authorized but they can't find it in the state. Why are you talking about data and what other parents are doing?

Wife just flew back after visiting her dad for the first time in 3 years. He’s been basically in a bunker due t his age and health. Low and behold, she started feeling bad on the plane and tested positive this AM. Cough, fever and body aches. Vaxed and boosted.

Emergency authorized. What's the emergency for young children? There isn't one. Vaxxing young kids has nothing to do with safety. There is a reason almost the rest of the world isn't vaxxing babies for covid. Some people need to take their blinders off.

    .

And yet, you literally said that exact same thing after telling me that no one says that. Then, on the subject of disingenuous, you slip in your CYA phrase so you can claim you are not doing EXACTLY what you have done.

It's the same as saying the Vaccine is safe to take. That isn't correct. People have died after taking the vaccine. Others have had serious cases of myocarditis from the vaccine. Stop playing semantics. Healthy kids don't need the vaccine, especially considering somewhere around 90% of kids already have NI.

And you literally ignored the part that said “based on the data”. That is a direct inference to the reality there are many other things in life more dangerous to a healthy child.

I know you understand this. And typically you are not one to play in these games. It is not cya. Reality is healthy kids are in far more danger from many other things than they are Covid. You know that is the point.

Exactly. It is not dangerous to drive in a car either. And they know that does not mean every single person will survive driving today. There will be an accident. And someone will die or be hurt severely toady. But driving is not dangerous as a whole. Though more dangerous to healthy kids than Covid.

People have moved on. They are treating this like a cold/flu. As it should be now.

Yet hospitals have almost no covid patients. That's a good thing. The vaccine for adults and NI have shown to be effective in preventing serious issues.
