First Kemp, now this. This wont sit well with you know who. Good for Mike. ------------------------ Mike Pence is going right after Donald Trump in Arizona The move by Pence to endorse Robson is rightly understood then not as simply a rejection of a Trump-backed pick, but an attempt to affirm that the 2020 election was, in fact, free and fair. Pence and Trump are scheduled to hold dueling rallies on behalf of their preferred candidates in the state on Friday. Mike Pence endorses Karrin Taylor Robson in Arizona governor's race - CNNPolitics
Pence a big-time establishment NWO idiot... Every real Constitutional/Populist/sovereign nation Pub knows this..
The primary in Arizona, which will thankfully be over soon, has been a sh!t-show on the right. Every state candidate trying to out-Trump their competitors. Name calling with Trump and/or his name on every other TV ad. Meanwhile, Arizona is a state that elected two D Senators and voted for Biden by over 10,000 votes in 2020. And for Governor, the Ds are running really only major candidate, Katie Hobbs, who is currently Secretary of State, and is playing up the death threats and craziness she received from Trump supporters after the election. Senator Mark Kelly was potentially vulnerable, but if the only way to win the R primary is to cozy up to Trump and his supporters, then it's going to make a statewide win difficult for who wins the Senate and Gubernatorial primaries in Arizona. We'll see if whomever wins tries to pivot back to the center a bit, or go all-Trump-in?
In that event, one has to wonder why Trump picked him to be his VP. Especially when Trump's stated goals were putting America first and taking on the establishment. Trump seems to have very bad luck with surrounding himself with folks who supposedly turn out to be "idiots" or just bad hombres.
Any links or backup for this? For Pence, like all repubs regardless if they have a staunch conservative background, the only test now is do they have total and complete fealty to Dear Leader.
Hi Tilly - I hope for the good of the country, a larger group of prominant GOP supporters break from Trump. (Sorry Rick, I'm afraid we disagree on this particular issue) I just think it would be better for the country to see a more stable Republican in the Oval office. I do not believe Mr. Trump puts his country over his own personal interests. Just my opinion of course.
Wow. They've gotten to you Rick. Pence is an actual conservative. He isn't some flip flopping, former hillary supporting, cheating, lying, TV celeb, vulgar, chauvinistic, fake tanned buffoon.
Who does Pense think is going to vote for him? The base loves Trump and Trump has poisoned them against him. Then what is left of the “RINOs” and “never trumpers” might not want to vote for anything from the Trump admin. He’s too conservative for moderates and swing voters…. If he runs he’ll be one of the first to bow out, is my guess.
Ha, Pence is too soft on right wing wacko radicalism now. I remember the good ol’ days, when the scariest nuts the RW could muster up were Pence and Cruz. Like, the 2010’s. While Cruz has indeed tried to go the extra step to full batshit, he just looks like an idiot for the effort. And now Pence has been put out to pasture as his reward for propping up that four year catastrophe. Normally I’d find that a good thing, if his like wasn’t being replaced by class V shitwits.
If Pence isn't a true conservative than there aren't 5 non MAGA wingnut, whack job Republicans left in America.
I understand it’s not your headline but supporting a candidate different from the one trump supports is weak sauce and not at all “going right at trump”. If he was going at trump he would be talking to DOJ and J6.
