Police seeking 3 suspects who violently attacked woman, yelled 'I hate white people'

yep, now NYC in the late 70s was a different story but its so much better now. It might have gotten a little worse lately but still relatively safe. Just need to be aware of your surroundings a know where you're going.

 

Grew up in Brooklyn with a daughter living there now.

it’s always been the “best of times, worst of times” place.

What’s amazing about it (food, arts, diversity, transit) is still amazing.

What’s horrible about it (crime, filth, rats) is still horrible.

Was there last week visiting and it seems slightly cleaner than it was under DiBlasio’s regime. He was just a bad mayor who set the City back years with Covid as a cherry on the cake. Hopefully Adams can take it back to where it was under Rudy and Bloomberg’s regime, which was generally terrific. And there’s a ton of retail vacancy that needs to get backfilled for the street to feel as vibrant as it was in 2015/2016.


But these “black good, white bad” or “white good, black bad” threads are just silly and oversimplify a much more complex problem, and a debate I won’t engage in on here any longer because it’s simply pointless.

If true, they need to be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law with aggravated assault and hate crime charges.

 

Thats because dishonest people such as yourself would try to have us believe that racism is a white person problem. It's not. We live in THE MOST inclusive country in the world yet people like you always complain only about white people and racism. If you want some credibility, make sure you keep the same energy.

It's like people who try to make the argument that more white men are killed by the police to make a point when in reality, per capita - more black men are killed by police. Given the two facts stated above, you STILL only care about white racists rather than all racism. It's ok, its not like anyone here expects anything different from you.

So yes, I will come here every time you try to chit on white people for being racists so that you dont get to throw out your dishonest rhetoric as if its truth.

I know, its an inconvenient truth for you people to know that its a FACT that black people commit more hate crimes then any other race per capita. Statistics hurt when you cant push them in someone elses face, dont they?

 

The entire premise of this thread was based on black people being racist towards whites, yet you conveniently ignored that. That means I can't take you seriously since you definitely didn't "keep the same energy" with OP. Have a nice day and try to do better next time.

 

Why don’t you consider what your stance is on racism and then do some serious self-reflection on the matter?

As a white person whose politics are slightly left of center thanks for letting me know that I want deranged African-Americans, an almost infinitesimal number, to attack me. I never knew I had suicidal tendencies. Thanks for the diagnosis.

If the allegations are accurate the perps in the original post should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law and should spend many years in a secure institution courtesy of state and/or federal taxpayers.

Racism is bad, in any context. However, it is a generally bigger societal issue when one race has a disproportionate amount of power in a society. That bigger societal issues is of more interest to me, hence I post more in those threads.
