What did he say that is wrong? Be specific.

So what? Dude has a carbon footprint the size of a small city and I'm fairly certain, if he actually said any of that, really doesn't believe a word it.

Didn't answer the question. Everything he said is true.

Harrison Ford Speaks Out Against Politicizing Climate Change

"The 78-year-old actor, who is a long-time environmental activist, tells TIME that it’s imperative for those in power to view climate change as a scientific reality. “The climate crisis is real—the weight of scientific evidence is overwhelming…but evidence can be ignored, it can be manipulated,” he says. “Leaders who choose to make climate change a divisive issue do it to protect the entrenched economic interests who profit from behavior that destroys our planet. It’s selfish. It’s short-sighted. It needs to stop…This s— is going to kill us.”"

Is it hysteria to be concerned that today's short-sighted profiteering may destroy the environment that my 6-year old granddaughter inherits? The bigger danger is the apathy of those who don't look beyond their quarterly stock reports.

Yes, it's a world-wide problem. But the longer we put off addressing the problem, the worse it's going to be for her and all the generations to follow.

Environmental activist. Sure, that idiot would love to see you living in a solar powered tiny home and driving a golf cart while he tools around in his private jet, all to save the planet you know! :emoji_joy::emoji_joy:

Why aren't you guys ever bitching and moaning about China & India? It's never a part of your talking points. They are the ones mucking up the planet. Libs have been burning tax payer dollars for years on green energy and making very little gains. Solar and electric cars are a nice addition to our energy needs but will never be the solution. Never ever. Reigning in the 3rd world countries, China and India are the solution.

I'd be up for banning plastic bottles, junk mail and windmills the kill 1000's of raptors every year. I'm totally on board for nuclear. Sweeping climate action? Haha.

Still . . . . you haven't pointed out what he said that is wrong. All you've done is attack the messenger. Typical.

Well which is why our structure of government is almost irretrievably flawed and will lead to failure. They’re just too many mechanisms that are preventing effective governance through over empowerment to minority interests

This thread is about the abject refusal to address climate change by the Republicans in the US Senate. Get back to me when the Senate has the authority to pass climate regulations for China and India.

I know, I know... you're not arguing from a position of knowledge. Methinks you're just running interference from the Republicans.

A Republican dude blames Democrats for not passing large scale climate laws. "Stand up" against the Democrats by obstructing progress and then blame them for failing. It's a perfect plan until we all die.

MIAMI MAYOR FRANCIS SUAREZ (R): Democrats unfortunately have failed to be able to pass bills to address climate

MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, they don't have any Republican votes

    "Please save us, Democrats!"

I am quoting myself just to remind me that Joe Manchin is impossibly fickle and impossible to count on or figure out.
