Secret Service erased Jan 6th text messages after oversight committee requested they turn them over

Yeah, something rotten was going on in that agency (hopefully, past tense is correct, but I am no so sure). Not sure it was the whole organization, but there was somebody with substantial power that was not to be trusted. Pence knew that.

 

I am sure it’s because the texts will be some of the agents cheering it on.
Of course the ironing here is that the “deep state” is protecting Trump, but not a whisper from the conservatives here. It’s ok when it benefits them.

But prosecute anyone who didn’t follow the data preservation order. And then set some forensic tech folks to find the data, it isn’t gone unless the wiped the servers. Even then it might be recoverable.
