So evidently the libs here think it would have been no big deal for the guy to call her a vapid, brain dead, baby killing socialist instead of she has a nice ass?
Ultimately, if you want to make common cause with this creepy weirdo and embrace it as fair game, go for it! Won't bother me, and I don't think it helps you.
Yes, just like it would be viewed by many people as out of bounds (but still "free speech") if you called Clarence Thomas the n word instead of a right-wing lunatic. I think someone shouting "murderer" at Thomas over guns would be viewed different than saying they'd like to do weird stuff to him or shouting racial slurs.
An alternative take is some here think it's okay to sexually harass a person going to work so long as you preface it with "baby killer". "Look at me Ma... I'm protesting!!"
That's sexual harasment? Paaaaahleeeze. Tha guy knew exactly what he was doing and exposed AOC's hyprocrisy perfectly.
I don't understand, you guys said this is the outcome leftists like me wanted, right? Shouldn't you be making the concessions? Because you don't like this outcome right?
You kind of did. If you notice, nobody on here called for this guy's arrest. You so badly wanted there to be hypocrisy that you forgot that people needed to do something inconsistent with what they said on the other thread. Well, other than you. But it is different for you, we all know.
Maybe we need a new law that says you cant say anything about a congressperson's booty though. Mitch McConnell might need protection from weirdos with turtle fetishes too, so this could be bipartisan.
Depends on what the protesters are saying. Harassment isnt assault. His motivation here is clearly not sexual. He is trying to get under her skin and prove a point. (It worked btw) In honesty though, I find it gross and people like him on either side make me sick. Making it sexual crossed a line, no question.
Yeah. He has limited his career opportunities although Fox is probably tracking him down as we speak.
Just to be clear, what a certain justice faced in a restaurant was harassment to most folks. (Not sexual, but harassment none the less)
I have no idea however if she feel strongly enough that she was sexually harassed then certainly she can file suit and find out
I'm not sure how unsolicited comments about her butt is not sexual harassment. Whether it comes from a place of lust, misogyny or provocation of a reaction is somewhat immaterial to the impact on her. Perhaps our fairer posters can opine.
