So I guess nothing matters and everything is arbitrary which always seems to be the conclusion with you.

    Good talk.

Because paring words and threading a needle for every discrepancy in a person is exhausting and unrealistic.
It’s a lot like dealing with you here.

There's a connection between gender and sex, but they're not the same. It's why gender differs across societies and cultures.

Ah, they can "basically" do what they want . . . except for a bunch of things they want to do that Republican governments have passed discriminatory laws and policies to prevent them from doing. Thanks for the clarification.

You forgot already, I discriminate with everyone. I’m especially hard on white people though.

I'm not worried. "Conservatives" have a truly unrivaled record of being on the wrong side of history in this country.

There are many more problems with Josh Hawley than how he wants to refer to pregnant transmen. As I previously stated it's fine with me if they want to refer to themselves as men although as far as I'm concerned someone with functioning ovaries and a uterus and the capability of pregnancy is still a woman.

What do you think being a man or a woman 'depends' on? There are people who have gone through most of their adult life as a man even though they were born with the anatomy of a female (and vice versa). Few knew and they were accepted as the gender they presented themselves as. So was this person a man or a woman? What does that determination 'depend' on for you?

My question is this: If you were born a women, say you are a trans man, why would you have sex like a woman? You don't want to be a woman, why would you have sex where you could become pregnant and perform the most "woman" thing out there and have a baby?

There's this thing called artificial insemination. As for sex, there are these things called strap-ons.

Why would a trans man want to be artificially inseminated?

I’m going to give you an honest answer. It may not be hot enough but it is.
I’m just not going to seek different people out. I am not looking for trans people and maybe I’m naive and I don’t notice them and that’s fine.
I’m not going to sit my family down and do a big lesson on this stuff. I cannot think of many times where these anomalies will interact with me and my social circle. But if I were to meet someone in the real world who does identify as something different, and does not present as I might perceive them, I’m going to treat that person like I always have in my life….with respect and empathy. I like to think I treat people the way I want to be treated.

That’s exactly what I was saying. You have the plumbing for a woman, but have sex with a man. Are you a gay man born in a woman’s body? I think that could happen. Why not? No? Yes?

I have an acquaintance who was a man and transitioned to be a woman and she married a woman after that. And they have a baby.

That’s just it. You can be a gay man in a woman’s body or a gay woman in a man’s body. Ahh Mother Nature. We are all just learning about the complexity of that which makes us organic human beings.

Hey 715, does this count as a "traditional marriage"? ;)
