Right you're not supposed to it's called inducement payments and it's against the rules but that Has been the talking point of nearly every "why is Florida behind in recruiting " thread on here. We supposedly won't do it but other schools are giving them money up front. You see now Lawyer Darren Heitner is offering to represent kids who haven't gotten what they were promised in "NIL" or only gotten a fraction of what they were promised. Hell, just follow Ruiz's twitter. He , at least early on would gloat on who he was signing. 5* OL from Iowa spoke in a video how schools were offering him 500k and up to a 1 mil a year to commit to them right then. These days everything ends up on Twitter or Facebook. It's sad.

 

The last time we had slimeballs in charge in Gainesville, we won multiple national championships. Sign me up!

I think winning another national championship will loosen some of the upright folks up and make them realize it’s a new era and you have to do what have to do to survive in this current world of college football. I still believe CBN can be the guy to lead us there.

I don’t think anyone believes nil is the only reason Miami is recruiting well. I personally believe it is the reason they are recruiting as well as they are. They will be top 5 in the nation and will probably be in the hunt for #1. That’s what you guys expected when christobal was hired?

That's one of Caspino's contracts and somewhere there it even details the "Advances" and monthly payments, plus other stuff that shouldn't be allowed.

It's gotten to the point as if Miami sees who UF is recruiting and offers them.

 

He has been trending that way for awhile.

 

One thing I miss about moving away from Florida. UF was a steal compared to the cost here in the NE. Oldest got a partial scholarship and it’s still outrageous.
