I recognize you as a smart poster, often with good information and at times convincing arguments. I have also attempted, a few times, to consider your perspectives and have agreed with you from time to time.

I also recognize you are a very angry person and much like myself, probably have deep frustrations about American politics and culture that gnaw at you to the bone.

I suspect you may be a youthful person, a younger man, I don't know, but thats my impression.

I regret that the American body politic is so divided and that message boards tend to become insult driven, based on ones political affiliation.

Personally speaking, I am an older Caucasian, 63, and wish (naively) that Americans would find common ground and work to make the country a better place. (Hey I wish I could win the Powerball to) but.........from my perspective, we, YOU and I and everyone else, may be on the cusp of challanges so severe that one of two things will happen, the country will become so divided that we descend into violence. Or, we coalesce and work together to solve our nations problems.

I don't want to be to hypocritical, because I have hurled plenty of rocks at the GOP and Trump supporters. I know that, thats why I have "backed off" being a regular here and continuing to throw rocks.

Anyway - my attempt to reach out to you instead of just hurling another rock - and my guillotine comment was not appropriate.

Pretty obvious Trump felt threatened by Musk's rising adulation from the right wing. Had to lash out at him. Basic narcissist stuff.

Yeah, it just seem bizarre ... No idea what musk did to upset dear leader ... Heck, musk even said if he bought Twitter he'd unban him ...

It really shows how dumb trump is, though ..."rocketships to nowhere?" Is a prime example. Isn't SpaceX launching satellites and docking with the space station? I wonder how many Trump worshippers are lapping it up...

It's too well-written to have come from a Trump account. That said, Trump's actual recent statement about Elon was odd to me. Why go after Elon? My theory - for which I have zero evidence - is that perhaps behind the scenes Trump is hearing that Elon has said something bad about him or that he may be signaling support for DeSantis.

Musk actually is a top notch businessman though. A level of financial successes and wealth Trump can only dream of, and that he practically bankrupts himself trying to project.

Trump basically failed at every business he ever did, only achieving a modicum of success as a reality TV star after his businesses completely failed.

Both guys have cult-like followings. Musk’s is at least a cult build around a product and tech innovation (kind of like Apple fans with Steve Jobs). Trump only offers kool-aid.

 

According to Forbes, its real and Trump posted it on Truth Social. I don't have access to Truth Social to see for myself, but Forbes is reliable.

 

Musk has been pretty open in supporting and encouraging a 2024 DeSantis run.

who else has a problem being told what they don't want to hear? that deep rooted insecurity manifests itself by defending every decision you make regardless of how bad it is.

 

Trump wants everyone to drop to their knees and beg. Failure to do so means you are a RINO or a communist.
