Dying on a hill? For pointing out that you are jumping to conclusions? Not one of you can point to any factual evidence.

Why are you all so invested in it being a heart condition? That’s what is puzzling me. For the record, I’m not saying it isn’t a heart condition. I’m saying there isn’t enough evidence for any of you to state it as fact.

It would seem to me that you all are the ones acting irrationally, here, but majority rules, I suppose.

We don't have access to his medical records due to HIPAA, but his doctors do, and UF does, and they don't want him to play. That can logically mean only one thing.

That's all the evidence I need, and that isn't irrational.

Until now I have not posted in this thread. I don't find the argument compelling and that's why I think your argument is a strange hill to die on. I'm not accusing you of being irrational either, so I'm not certain where that comment stems from. Maybe someone else?

I understand what @murphree_hall has been saying . . . and I understand most of the pushback.

However, this is the opinion to which I defer.

@gogators73 knows the cardiologist there who apparently said things that allowed @gogators73 to believe it was heart-related. That was pretty persuasive.

@GatorToTheEnd can diagnose and treat, which means he or she is likely a doctor, and has stated unequivocally that, "Any medical professional who looks at that video knows it was a primary cardiac event."

It was a good discussion here in May when we otherwise mostly just watch for @Uncle's fishing pictures. LOL! :)

Regardless, we're all hoping things only turn out for KJ's best and brightest future.

It’s a big leap from the team doesn’t want him to play to its absolutely a heart condition. It’s cool if you want to make that assumption, but people should not be saying I’m dying on a hill for not making that broad leap. There are a lot of possibilities… including heart conditions, but we do not have real evidence.

Thank you @ETGator. I feel like those are valid considerations. I have no issue with people saying that this is why they believe that KJ has a heart condition. What I don’t like is when people say they know for sure and make it seem as though there are no other possibilities on the table.

Can someone explain to me why Baylor could let him play, but UF can't? I don't see why liability would be any less at another place if they have reviewed his medical records. Make it make sense.

Maybe because their consulting physicians have different benchmarks.

Thank you for the update, sad KJ had this accusation hanging over him. What little that came to light suggested the female involved would have a tough row upriver given there was consensual activity, perhaps that came into play.

Anyway hopefully both may move on without too much damage.

I told y’all. This was rubbish from the beginning and should never be mentioned in association with KJ’s name ever again.
