Archibald had Myocarditis. I assume that is your point. He fully recovered and received a medical exemption that allowed him to play without the vaccine. Mark Letestu contracted it too. Before Covid was a thing. Myocardial issues have actually been an issue in hockey for some time. It is pure assumption to connect Archibald's condition to Covid. But to clarify, Bertuzzi is the only (non exempt)player remaining.
Yes, he did recover, after missing most of the season. A beyond stupid call on his part that cost him well over $1 million. Especially for a pending free agent fourth liner. And I have seen nothing disputing that it came from his Covid bout.
Tyler Bertuzzi is the NHLs only unvaccinated player. There was a short period where only 4 were unvaccinated. Archibald was probably part of that group. But since his medical exemption is not part of who they consider vaccinated now. ***edit***
He did not get vaccinated. He got myocarditis (likely from Covid) and missed the season until March. So let's assume that it was 4 in the pool and compare it to Myocarditis to that extent from other players who were vaccinated. Do you think 25% of them got such an issue?

What a ridiculous argument. Archibald got Covid early September I believe. Who is to say he would not have gotten it from the shot. He was good with his decision. Obviously he was a rare case where myocarditis got him. It could have been the flu or any virus. Just like for you or me. Just like anyone can get it from the shot or a virus.
HIPAA will probably keep that a secret. How would we know? It's his call if it was stupid or not. He still chose not to even after the diagnosis, so maybe his doctor assured him it wasnt covid related...or he might not be worried about money.
And yet, it wasn't any of those things. How many of the vaccinated players had such an issue, since they could have gotten it from the shot or some other illness?
Afterwards, his doctor may be rightly worried about giving the shot to somebody who just came off of Covid-related Myocarditis. Probably how he got a medical exemption given that he apparently wasn't eligible for one before the issue.
Very few had an issue vaccinate or infected. Follows the data on the disease. They are a low risk group.
Those three are really close! Might need a week long vacation with drinks and still not sure you would get it done. But it would be fun. Really special time to watch for sure! I think you're confusing your opinion with fact. Whether there should nor should not be any vaccine restrictions is not a matter of fact in the sense that you're using it. It's a decision put in place already to deal with the ongoing spread. There isn't any imperative to simply remove all restrictions as if covid went away, though it's not also imprudent to have removed most in light of changed conditions. Let's remember, you've been arguing for a long time against any restrictions, relying heavily on a document that proposed an untenable response because it would have likely gotten a bunch more people killed; a document that also didn't lay out how to exactly carry out focused protection that would be effective but also not violate people's rights. Not to mention, no explanation of how to deal with the many high risk that could not simply be isolated. Plus they got herd immunity wrong. Keeping a provision in place that foreign visitors not here on visas for some extended stay as needing to be vaccinated is 1) a quite minimalist regulation and 2) remains prudent in light of still circulating variants. As for Djokovic, given his cavalier behaviors when he did have covid in possibly exposing others in multiple countries, the US would be not only within their rights to deny him entry, they'd be smart to. He might be one of the greatest tennis players ever, but his life is not special.
The current strain is highly infectious but not that deadly. About 20 friends went for a week at the beach,16 have Covid which they say is like a mild cold, but we don’t know what the next strain will be like.
There is no need for restrictions. The virus is officially a highly contagious flu/cold at this point. Most people have had the disease by now. But as we see. Just about everyone has some form of “protection”. And people who had omicron or a subvariant have superior protection compared to those with vaccines or prior variants. This is just the continued authoritarian nonsense. We continue to not follow the science. But politicize the virus instead. While dropping the testing requirement to enter was the right thing to do. It would have made more sense to keep that and drop the vaccine requirement. But we have big pharma to pay. So they are going to keep authoritarian policies that might coerce a person to take it if they have not.
