If Trump becomes president again all hell will break loose. It would be an existential crisis for the USA.

I’m not convinced Desantis has the “Presence” and charisma to take it to the next level on a national stage. It’s a whole different deal. Look at Rick Perry at TX. overwhelmingly popular governor and just bombed in Republican primary. Desantis is much smarter but comes across as a whiny little man.

You really need to pull your head out of that hole you've put it in. Trump already attempted a coup.

This is true, but I actually think that is what their voters want. I feel like DeSantis' slogan could be "The whining and petty authoritarianism without the Sharpie maps and windmill cancer."

    Dude,
There are like two Trumpers on this board. LOL.
What do you expect to get from these dumbass posts? No one cares about Trump, with the exception that we want him to retire.

What exactly is it that you think DeSantis is going to say that is going to be more punch a bully sort of statement than to tell him he had a small penis? Again, they attacked him on everything nonstop. It all failed.

Desantis has the benefit of knowing Trump is a viable candidate. Those candidates and their teams weren't focused on him and his popularity caught them off guard. Kasich was worried about Jeb, not Trump

    Michigan looked past App State.
No one looks past App State anymore.

Trump will get the full focus of a 100% strategy. In 2016 that wasnt even close to the case

He will be coached well. Just not sure how well he will take direction. He is a prototype of a Manchurian candidate and the pub party has a lot invested in him. Imagining him and Newsome debating would be interesting. They are already barking at each other and I see that as the most likely scenario

This is massively revisionist. I don't believe Trump participated in a debate where he wasn't at the podium reserved for the top polling candidate. Again, Rubio wasn't claiming that Ted Cruz or Kasich had a small penis. Those debates were all about Trump.

Obviously speculation, but I think his potential weakness is because of perceptions from the base that he may not be the most likely to win. But if they think you can win, he is the candidate that expresses the way they think the nation should be governed

That strategy backfired and caused Trump to get even more support from people driving large trucks. Won't make the same mistake again.

LOL. This thread is about a poll that shows Trump beating DeSantis 49 to 25 amongst Repubs and you're saying no one cares about Trump. You've got your head in the sand beach of the river denial.
