Interestingly the poll cited in the article still has Biden beating Trump by 3% in a hypothetical election and that's with Joe's overall approval at 33% in the same poll.

Since the day we nominated Biden, I've never wanted him to run again in 2024. His job was to oust Trump. He did that.

 

And he did that beautifully. The other thing I wanted him to do was be reasonably quiet. Trumps never ending stream of consciousness texts were so idiotic and exhausting.

 

For those disagreeing I am just quoting the latest poll I read. Your orange leader is not going to be elected again the majority of the country isn’t that dumb.

I hope you are right, but 4% is a small number and the popular vote won't win the election.

 

I hope but it may be a forlorn hope that a great majority of the people will come to their senses. I already see signs of it on the fringes of trump supporters. It’s those who really like him where I am wondering if medication is needed.

Can you explain why this is a petty thread? This is a political/controversial topics forum. It's a NYT poll showing the current President's support is tanking among almost every demographic. Seems pretty newsworthy and relevant to this type of forum. Some of the responses have been petty so maybe that's what you were talking about.
