Why do they need to sell at all? Musk made an unsolicited offer they couldn't refuse. They were not exactly looking for a buyer, IIRC...

Incidentally, this is part of why boards aren’t required to accept a buy out offer just because it is higher than the current market price.

When you’re dealing with a loose cannon and known market manipulator like Musk, there’s a sizable chance the deal doesn’t close at the offered price, likely forcing the company into major litigation. And not just an ordinary big law suit, but one against a public figure who is already critical of your company and has a huge following of fans that he loves to turn against his enemies.

Heck, the narrative now is that Musk intended to do this the whole time to “expose” and embarrass Twitter. True or not, these are the kinds of things boards have to consider before accepting unsolicited buy out offers, even if they are nominally above the price of the day.

Musk has been sued by Twitter shareholders for market manipulation and from what I could determine the lawsuit is still pending meaning that Elon could be on the hook for billions of dollars in damages.

It could turn out that Elon Musk has been too smart for his own good.

I doubt it, it’s been trading about $20 less than Musk’s offer since early May, looks like Wall Street already priced in that Musk is a lying dope.

Whoa Elon, crank it down on the passive-aggressive defensiveness, not EVERYONE believes you volunteered to choose between losing big or losing massively.

I believe they said 90% interaction with bots... NOT the same thing as 90% are bots, so... still too often...

Don't tell me. You believe in some 'Q" but you don't know that the CIA is very well funded though corporate investments and other means?

Do yourself a favor and get a better Browser and a real Search Engine... not powered the by Google types.

Oh, so a bot read 90% of posts? See, that I would believe because people have bots that record posts. But what a stupid point, if that is what they are saying.

So wait, is the CIA controlled by the corporations or are the corporations controlled by the CIA? It is always so difficult to tell what nonsense theory is being offered.

You either already know what the CIA is up to, or you are playing dumb... You're too smart to be the other.
