LOL. I have no idea why it is called dog days. My current dog is a miniature Australian shepherd and they have a double thick coat for working in the rain. I cannot believe that is comfortable in our Florida summers. I take her for her long walk early in the day but even then it can be miserable.
And Roglič suffered a dislocated shoulder.....used a spectator's chair to reset it - and finished! Lovely display of iron will we are witness to each year...... That photo finish by the Aussie was also impressive!
Tyler Hamilton was a doper, but his having a double fracture of his collar bone early in hte TdF, winning a mountain stage, and finishing in Paris was amazing.

Tonight is clam linguini and caprese salad. Tomorrow we are going to a friends' house where they are grilling and we are bringing salad and wine.
@GatorLurker - permission to call tomorrow a "rest day", please....... Stage 10 on Tuesday is going to be BRUTAL! A heat wave in the forecast plus the climbs....ugh!
