DeVonta Smith was probably the same. I think he may have been 170 by senior year.

Gotcha. I think trouble is a bit emphatic, but I see what you are saying

They list him at 165. After watching his tape for the 1st time, he plays a lot bigger than that. Also looked good as a DB.

his hudl page list him at 170lbs, Not counting special teams they put the ball in his hand over 70 times, he was also involved in 24 tackles on defense and had 4 INTs......Id say he is plenty durable.

He was so skinny that USAID was dropping rice bags from helicopters to him at halftime.

yep but in the case of Innis and Williams, like Mario Williams last year, they were leaving the state for college no matter what

Hey Bobby, any idea who we are targeting at TE for next years class of 2024? I know we were after the #1 TE, but since he plays in Georgia and just got umpteen crystal balls to Georgia recently, I’m guessing he’s off the table (with a very long way to go, I know). But I haven’t read any info on other TEs from 2024 visiting us this spring or summer other than the Georgia tight end (Landen Thomas). Most of the highly rated tight ends for 2024 are out west or in the Midwest and I haven’t seen UFs name attached to any of them.

Since we are not even pursuing a TE this year and with no practices until august, I was hoping Peagler would be diving into 2024 with relentless effort. Not sure what else he may be doing since spring practice.

What happened with Jean? I still have him listed as a likely UF commit.

Might cool on Jean because Whittemore and likely Wilson are both projected as slot receivers. There's more need for outside receivers and Sorey looks like a good one. Nice frame, great speed and leaping ability. Wins a lot of jump balls.

    Or…

…Wilson could move to corner. If we whiff at QB, Whittemore could become the "interim" QB in this class. I hate turning away someone as talented as Jean. Also hate passing on someone from Miami.

nah you take all 3 of Whittemore, Wilson, and Jean and let the cream rise to the top. Stack talent and figure it out later

If that's the case, I wouldn't understand that at all. Sorey's WR film is perfectly fine and he can line up outside, unlike Whittemore/Wilson. IDK why we'd want him at safety, especially with us seemingly trending well with Castell and Thornton.

Nope at SDSU. He was third string and the first two got hurt in the first half. He ran for over 200 in the second..
