White rap fans with pink and blue hair and face tattoos are not exactly your stereotype Trumper demographic, nor does going to a Trump rally in a Where’s Waldo costume exactly scream “I’m here for the politics.”

He seems full on insane from his social media presence, but difficult to place on the political spectrum.

I don’t think you can really classify these people according to music, I’ve heard plenty of Trumpers with raised pickup trucks blaring rap music. Not a huge sample size, but I’ve heard more than a few (also came across quite a few more blaring country music).

From this limited sample size I would assume rap is at least the 2nd most likely music genre for a young male Trumper. Can’t say I’ve ever heard one playing classic or alternative rock or anything else. It’s always either country or rap. Of course it’s likely to just be young men blasting music from their trucks in the first place. So the choice of music could be more correlated to this age demographic rather than the politics. I wouldn’t draw any conclusions one way or the other, other than to say it’s pretty ridiculous to suggest he’s not a Trumper because he’s a “rapper”.

 

The pink and blue hair was the far stronger suggestion there.

I agree that I’ve seen plenty of Trump fans listening to rap. They all tend to be “macho bros” though, not 135 pound men with multicolored dyed hair.

True, but most of these mass shooters are loner dweebs. Including the wannabe Nazi types. A lot of them seem to radicalize online, so there is no “look” test. If I were to be a Holiday Inn Express profiler, I’d suggest this scrawny/ugly looking white kid is the more likely profile of a mass shooter than the “macho bro” type, even those in outfits like patriot front and others. Guy is surely an incel, must be unemployable, uneducated, also I’d guess meth usage etc. None of this necessarily ties him to a political ideology, but maybe he sought one out online.

I’m not sure I’d call this a politically motivated killing (no evidence for that presented yet), nonetheless the online incel groups are very much known to be pro Trump, and this guy very much fits that mold based on what we know so far.

47 also seems to refer to a video game character assassin (and the suit and red tie picture of him that is going around appears like it could be him dressing like that character).
