By the time they find anything, Miami will have 4 top 10 classes and be relevant again

Yep - they’re lawyers. To them destroying the sport is just collateral damage.

They may..but just because you get the players, doesn't always equate to putting a good team on the field..MC hasn't been that great a coach..I mean Zook could getthe players, but couldn't put together a good game day plan...I think you need both..good recruiting and a good game day coach..someone that develops players

We just offered. Remember Gator Demetric Jackson coaches here now.
Glad to see us starting to push for Robinson and Lewis Carter. My one big worry… Robinson is already very locked in with South Carolina are we too late? Would be a major major with on our part to lose Pup Howard and Robinson to SC.
Robinson is very good and the best at Columbia in a while.

There is no sheriff, that’s a big problem. Not penalizing the players for accepting inducements is a problem too, imho. Honestly, no one involved is really under any threat of punishment, and that’s why it’s the wild-wild west.

Yeah, but we just offered today. Hopefully that changes things. Actually I’m bothered by the fact that we let local kids like he and Howard get recruited more by out-of-state schools because we have our eyes on higher ranked kids. Then we try to circle back, as is the case here, and wonder why we end up missing. I don’t understand why we weren’t on him from the start as he plays 45 minutes down the road and it’s supposedly the best there since Kendyll Pope. Now we are watching Miami and South Carolina come in and take kids we would usually get or at least we wouldn’t expect them to get them

My guess is it’s too late and the kid probably feel “looked over” or disrespected.
Lewis Carter would be awesome pickup.

no reason why Robinson, Carter, and the Harris Twins from Lake Brantley (size be damned) weren’t highlighted earlier because I’m with you; you lock down the local surrounding areas and their top talent then branch out. In Robinson case, on TOS they’re saying Robinson has been waiting and wanting this offer so I guess we’ll see.

Napier is known. He turned ULL into a top 20 team and got them conference titles. He's been near the top of the wish list for most teams that needed a head coach for several years now. We're fortunate to have him.

And don’t forget, players aren’t captive like they were in the past.

Spot on brother. Those 4…I’d take all day. I read the same on TOS. Great to have Jackson there.

Napier isn’t known in the sense like Chris Peterson or Urban Meyer were when they weren’t at non power conferences. ULL never had a marquee name or played in a marquee bowl where top kids took notice to them. Yes he’s known to hardcore CFB fans but to these kids, he’s an unknown. None of these top kids we’re after probably have never met CBN

Totally agree man, but at the P5 level he has much to prove to the recruiting world. Hopefully this season works for us

I brought this up a few days ago. The state of Florida could crack down with prosecutions, and level the playing field for Florida schools or the legislature could loosen our rules to make us more competitive without cheating. I won't hold my breath for either.
