I think this is a little different than that. If someone says "I did not have an abortion," then not judging means assuming the best of the person until you have some kind of really good evidence to the contrary. That is why the Old Testament law has the two or three witnesses requirement to convict someone of a capital crime (Deuteronomy 19:15). OJ would fall under that category. The accused deserve the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise.

It is a totally different scenario than saying, "I had an abortion, but you can't judge me." At that point the person has confessed the sin, and they are pridefully and arrogantly opposing God's law which judges the actions of men. The sin being confessed is the shedding of innocent blood (Genesis 9:6). It is a sin so severe that God does not listen to the prayers of those who have blood on their hands (Isaiah 1:15). It also carries with it the death penalty. So, the greatest need of the person who has done something like this is to have that blood guiltiness removed. And there is a way it can be removed, but that is only through confession of sin and a blood atonement for the sin, which can only be obtained through Jesus Christ. A person who points out that blood guiltiness is no different than a doctor pointing out cancer, a heart attack, or a stroke. You can't do something about a problem you haven't acknowledged. And once a person acknowledges they've got bloodguilt on their hands, they will find Jesus to be a great savior.

There is a story in the Old Testament where a man comes before King David, and says he helped Saul kill himself. He was expecting some kind of approval for his actions. The story can be found in 2nd Samuel 1. If you think about that story, it is similar to this debate. We are not talking about people who deny the fact that they have killed others. We are talking about people who openly confess to killing others, and they think that what they have done is good, right, and defensible.

I could imagine the pro-choicers right now standing in the crowd in 2nd Samuel 1, and condemning King David, saying, "Judge not lest ye be judged" because King David judged the man by carrying out the death penalty on that man. King David knew murder was a capital crime, and when the man confessed to the crime, King David made a determination about what the law required in response. We do the same thing when people like Ted Bundy are sent to death row. We should be ashamed of ourselves if we said, "Judge not lest we be judged" when Ted Bundy was put to death. What King David did was not a sin. It actually was faithfulness to God.

The Bible does speak to it, but you've closed your ears and you've closed your eyes because you don't want to hear and you don't want to see.

In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth. And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the baby leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit, and she exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! And why is this granted to me that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For behold, when the sound of your greeting came to my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy. And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.” -Luke 1:39-45

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. -Psalm 139:13-16

Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work? -Proverbs 24:11-12

So it is not the will of my Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. -Matthew 18:14

“When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm, the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman's husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm, then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe. -Exodus 21:22-25

“‘Cursed be anyone who takes a bribe to shed innocent blood.’ And all the people shall say, ‘Amen.’ -Deuteronomy 25:27

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! -Isaiah 5:20

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live. -Deuteronomy 30:19

When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul. Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute? They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death. But the Lord has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge. ... -Psalm 94:18-23

And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.” -Mark 7:20-23

I don't care what the Bible says about abortion! This isn't a damn theocracy, and law based on the Bible is wrong, unconstitutional, wrong, and stupid!

    Forgive the F-bomb.

Well, English common law came from the Bible, and that is where most of our laws come from. So good luck gutting most of our nation's laws and building a modern day Tower of Babel.

Ectopic pregnancies can end in two deaths, and most definitely end in one death. Preserving life when we can is what it means to be pro-life. Hopefully, state legislatures get things like this worked out and neither Republicans nor Democrats get in the way of that.

Today is a decent day so here I am. This is a pdf link to drugs that would fall under what some states have as their abortion ban, because they fall under "causing harm or death". Anything not category A (vitamins for example) qualifies.

This includes pain medicines including OTC Advil, rheumatoid medications, antidepressants, seizure medications, ANESTHESIA (yes some pregnant women have to have surgeries, break bones, etc), ANTIBIOTICS, etc.

For the "it's God's will" folks

If it's God's will for women to carry a fetus to term, and gods will for women to die due to ectopic pregnancy, then:

It's God's will that you can't have children, So no ivf.

It's God's will you got cancer, so you can't have chemo.

It's God's will you had a heart attack, so no stents.

It's God's will you've got organ failure, so you dont get a transplant.

If you deny women Life saving treatments and medical care under the guise of "God's will" , You don't deserve any either.

As for those saying "well the court didn't ban it, it's now up to the states". They effectively DID ban it. They could've issued injunctions against states with trigger bans so that proper laws, and not laws crafted pre 1910, would safeguard women's health. But they didn't.

This court is absolutely on a mission to turn this country into a Christian theocracy where only white Christian males have rights. Look at the other rulings including the one just handed down basically removing the status of Native American reservation sovereignty. The school prayer one. This overturn. Thomas coming out saying gay marriage and birth control is next. Already decided on a case for a company NOT to cover birth control.

They ruled against women being able to pump breast milk at work. During a formula shortage.

It's a joke. It's weaponizing God and Christianity to discriminate against others, to basically abuse women, and defend it under God's will.

Evangelicals will defend child brides, cults, spousal abuse and rape, etc, because they see it as "their" right from God.

If there is a God those of you that have weaponized Him will be punished in the next life. Judging women and girls, forcing them to bend to your will...you have no shame and are the very WORST of Christianity.

It's not even their expertise. An Ohio lawmaker admitted he didn't do his research about ectopics before requiring they be reimplanted.

They don't care about science, common sense, or anything. They care only about virtue signaling to their zealous supporters.

Videos out there of protesters showing up and disrupting Mass...being screamed at to get out, this is a Church, we don't want to hear it, then physically shoving women out.

Gee...you mean you DONT want someone coming up to you and throwing flyers at you, calling you killers, etc? They were mad about cameras filming worshipers too. You mean like when prolifers record and photo patients? Photo their plates and harass them later? Scream at them, call them killers, tell them they're going to Hell, etc? Thought that was okay?

It's not so nice when it's being done to you is it? I applaud these protesters and hope they continue to show up at churches.

Also if churches are going to continue to take up legal opinions then they should lose their tax exempt status. Like that one preacher taunting the IRS to come take his status because he was speaking out against the government, women's rights, etc.

    Food for thought---

Define a C-section. A C-section is where the doctor has to surgically remove the fetus due to an inability to naturally give birth.

So a fetus, has to be surgically removed.

Yes folks, under the definition of some states, a C-section or any other induction of a delivery would fall under an abortion. Because they didn't bother to think ahead.

One step further. Anesthesia can cause miscarriage/early delivery. So does Pitocin, a drug meant to induce contractions to help deliver.

My anesthesia ran out as they were cutting me open for my C-section. I felt the cold of the betadine, the first thin incision, then the subsequent faster, deeper cuts. I felt them moving my organs around, pulling layers of inner organs out, and then the burning slice into my uterus. I felt the ripping and how they got her partly out but still stuck. I was screaming throughout. Then felt the lovely pop and snap when they broke my hip getting her out.

THEN they gave me something to stitch me up.

I gave that very graphic story for this one. You have no idea what pregnancy or birth do to you. None. With those nonsensical bans in place all of that would've been illegal, and I had a C because otherwise she and I would've both died.

This is what happens when people pass laws that aren't based in anything other than their "beliefs".
