10 year old rape victim can't get abortion in Ohio

This is terrible in so many ways. Please keep this thread updated as I get the feeling she’ll receive the care she needs.

I thought the Supreme Court banned abortions.....

 

I genuinely hope the voting up there corrects problems like this. 10 year olds should not be pregnant and this should be a rare occurrence.

 

It would help if there was a link to the current law for abortion in Indiana. You're not going to get that from the news article let alone a search.

 

Try again point me to the law not some article.

 

Incredible sad. The story here is there should be no story. This is such a private and destructive situation. She shouldn’t be made an example for political points.

I get the sentiment. Shouldn't be a story because no 10yo should ever have to face a pregnancy nor the inability to terminate that pregnancy. But it def should be a story because of both.

It is personal. It is political. It is horrible and it is wrong on every level.

 

I don't think it's an expectation or some rule that the op who starts a thread based on a news article must also go search for the legal code referenced in the news article.

How about find it yourself? The OP provided a link. You requested more information, which ya should have found on your own. Then you complain what they found isn't good enough? Sheesh.
