I doubt he's aware of the previous testimony.

This is hard for rational or traditional conservatives. I feel for you. I have a dear friend I used to debate politics with. Very involved GOP. Brilliant guy. Wherever you turn, the options are disagreeable. Ultimately, Trumpism has to be rejected because it is anti-democratic and not truth based at its core. But that does not mean embracing extreme liberalism, which explains why the GOP gained seats in 2020.

It’s hard not to feel superior to Trump supporters. Sorry that it comes off as condescending. : )

"No cross examination" was McCarthy's choice. Pelosi accepted 3 GQP reps appointed by McCarthy, but rejected 2 others because they were co-conspirators. McCarthy could have appointed 2 others who weren't co-conspirators, but decided instead to take his marbles and go home.

By the way, Trump agreed with McCarthy at the time. He probably even gave McCarthy his marching orders. So, it's probably his fault.

I get it. You guys get over stimulated when you think there is a chance to take out Orange Man Bad. It's very exciting. The good news is first reported by all your favorite networks simultaneously. Gosh, the talking points are not just similar, they are exact from the media and democrats. Damn we got him now, they are all saying it! Yes. Then the drum beat begins and day by day the talking points get repeated again and again until they become fact. Maybe it's Russian collusion or maybe it's phone calls to the Ukrainian President or maybe it's leading an insurrection on the state Capitol.

This movie always disappoints in the end though. Womp womp. Why is that? The Dems hate Trump, the DC swamp/mainstream media despises him, a fair percentage of Pubs don't want him around and the FBI/DOJ are no friends to Trump. How does he continue to elude prosecution with no one but the low IQ mouth breathing MAGA lemmings behind him?

Do you know the answer? Come on this can be fun. How does he keep getting away with it?

Your bar for political leadership is that it is all good if the leader isn’t prosecuted for crime? Anything unethical goes? How sad and weak minded. But, I will answer your question. When Robert Mueller found sufficient evidence of each element of obstruction of justice, but did not indict because of the OLC Agnew opinion, Bill Barr announced falsely that there was insufficient evidence and didn’t charge. Don’t believe Mueller found sufficient evidence for the elements of 3 acts of obstruction, read Volume 2 of his report. Why didn’t they indict after Trump left office or Ukraine? Because Trump was president and us the support of so many lemmings like you. People like Trump aren’t treated like people like you. The insurrection investigation is ongoing. Have patience.

How does he keep getting away with it? It's not because he's smart. In fact, he's a moron.

    FB_IMG_1631053118023.jpg

But he has bullied the cowardly GQP into submission. Ronald Reagan would turn over in his grave if he saw all the GQP RINO's kissing Trump's treasonous rear end.

It's a penetrating philosophical question as to how someone that admits they're not watching the hearings can have any credibility on the subject. Or the gall to criticize others' observations.

Here are all of the hearings if you actually want to have an informed opinion.

Here is an evaluation of the evidence to date:

Because I think it’s important to distinguish between a physical attempt to stop the certification process on the one hand and objections to the certification or long-shot legal maneuvers on the other.

The first is fairly unprecedented and arguably meets a (somewhat broad) definition of an attempted coup. The latter isn’t. There’s a fairly wide body of law review articles on “here’s how you contest a presidential election” and the idea of competing electors. And Democratic congressman have objected on the record to certification of the electoral vote count in literally every election that has resulted in the election of a Republican President since 2001 (2005 was the only one that had a Senator join - Barbara Boxer - but House members objected in 2001 and 2016 as well, including a member of this very committee in 2016).

Either way, virtually everyone (left, right, middle) outside Trump's right-wing extremist cult knows he should be indicted for sedition.

BREAKING NEWS: TRUMP SWEARS HE'S NEVER HEARD OF THE CALIFORNIA RAISINS.

But, he's sure they each voted 300,000 times in the 2020 election.

See #325 above for hate and stupidity. Also note that he didn't address a single point I made. That is MAGA at its despicable worst. Its stuns me that they NEVER address the FACTS. The only thing which seems to matter is blind worship.

Yes, I despise Trump, but wouldn't if the facts justified me liking him. If he were a good man with the best interests of our nation at heart, I'd support him 100%. But he's not and doesn't. He's a mentally ill narcissist.
