'No one is watching. No one cares, now or anytime down the road. In Nov no one will care.'

Your mantra. If you just say it over and over again maybe it will keep the scary stuff away.

I couldn't support someone who wouldn't respect me as a person. There isn't anyone in this country that "man" respects except billionaires. If you aren't a billionaire, you've been duped.

He wouldn't allow 99% of this country on his front lawn.

Moseley then stressed that the historic Columbus doors would have to be opened inside by someone and not by his client from outside. Moseley highlighted that the historic doors weigh 20,000 pounds and are secured by magnetic locks, which require to be opened inside using a security code that the Capitol Police control.

Who let the "peaceful protesters" in?

So what? It's an hearing about an investigation, not a court of law. That may come later.

"A hearing is a meeting or session of a Senate, House, joint, or special committee of Congress, usually open to the public, to obtain information and opinions on proposed legislation, conduct an investigation, or evaluate/oversee the activities of a government department or the implementation of a Federal law."

It is probably best not to try to quote a now disbarred lawyer representing the Oath Keepers making relatively ridiculous claims as if they were true.

Fact Check: Did an ‘Inside Man’ Open Capitol Doors for Rioters on January 6?

Just because someone may have a piece of the truth, doesn’t mean that someone should be assholes about it.

Libbies are quite often insufferable and condescending, which is why I have a hard time with them.

    So angry. I have more.

    Left leaning Politico reports :

Anthony Guglielmi, the service’s chief of communications, told POLITICO that select committee investigators did not ask Secret Service personnel to reappear or answer questions in writing in the 10 days before asking Hutchinson about the matter at the hearing.

“[W]e were not asked to reappear before the Committee in response to yesterday’s new information and we plan on formally responding on the record,” he wrote in an email. “We have and will continue to make any member of the Secret Service available.”

The Secret Service statement comes amid questions about two aspects of Hutchinson’s testimony: the story about Trump’s behavior in his presidential vehicle, which Hutchinson said was relayed to her by top White House security aide Tony Ornato; and her claim to have written a note about a potential Trump statement that would’ve aimed to quell the Jan. 6 violence.

And the committee’s lack of outreach in the days before Hutchinson’s hearing is notable because the Secret Service has said Jan. 6 investigators can access any documents or witnesses they deem relevant.

Not in the opinion of most. It is necessary for posterity to know what lead up to January 6, what happened on that day, and how the country responded to it. Many approved of what happened and still others don't care. If democracy survives this era, they will be the ones posterity identifies as the traitors who tried to destroy it, or didn't care if others did. Posterity will also identify the heroes who courageously fought against tyranny. Almost all who have testified before the Committee have been republicans. RINO's those who favor tyranny call them, the foregoing poster being a perfect case in point.

Better angry than ignorant. You are furiously swatting at flies when the OVERWHELMING evidence - including SWORN testimony, mostly from republicans whom you stupidly refer to as RINO's - has been a swarm of killer bees. A sampling of what has been established by SWORN testimony:

    1. The election was NOT fraudulent.
    2. Trump was told and knew it was NOT fraudulent.
    3. Trump nonetheless repeatedly insisted it was fraudulent and tried to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
    4. Worse, Trump encouraged protestors armed with all manner of weapons to descend upon the very symbol of our democracy, knowing full well they intended to hang his Vice-President. (Indeed, he said he deserved a hanging.)

One can't overemphasize that the witness testimony has been SWORN. Therefore, one can ignore, or should, all allegations from the right-wing media unless and until they make them under oath.

I dare say, before Trump it was inconceivable to anyone reading this that any president would do these things, especially #4.

If you deny any of those unassailable facts, you are more than ignorant.

MORE LIES: Cassidy Hutchinson ALSO Lied about Handwritten Note in Testimony -- And Liz Cheney KNEW IT WAS A FALSE because the Actual Author of the Note Testified It Was His! (thegatewaypundit.com)
MORE LIES: Cassidy Hutchinson ALSO Lied about Handwritten Note in Testimony — And Liz Cheney KNEW IT WAS A FALSE because the Actual Author of the Note Testified It Was His!

On Tuesday, Liz Cheney and the sham Jan. 6 committee brought in Mark Meadows’ former staffer Cassidy Hutchinson as a “surprise witness.”

The Secret Service immediately denied the report and the agents reportedly announced they are ready and willing to testify.

NBC News White House Correspondent Peter Alexander tweeted–

Liz Cheney and Cassidy Hutchinson also got caught lying about a handwritten note that Cassidy took credit for writing.

Cheney actually displayed the note during Cassidy’s testimony and the witness said she wrote the note on January 6th.

The handwritten note J6 Star Witness testified she wrote was actually written by Eric Herschmann. She flat out lied. The committee knew it because Eric testified under oath that he wrote that note. Cheney questioned him about it. She knew Cassidy was lying

The facts will ultimately come out but there's absolutely no incentive for Cheney to pursue a known lie that would literally undermine the entirety of their work.

I know Trump worshippers have turned on her despite her 99% REAL conservative voting record because she dared cross him, but she didn't become stupid overnight.

Telling that poster's concern lies only with the author of the note, not the necessity of its' creation. How sad.

So if you're saying Herschmann is a truthful person, go ahead and do the rest of his Jan 6 committee hearing.
