he does have an offer from UF, though it was from the prior staff (might have even been his first offer). Not sure if they made a big deal about a re-offer or not but shows he still has an offer. He did visit UF March 17 of this year and I believe will be on campus again this week (as part of a 7 on 7 tourney team visit).

While listed as Bucholz, this is his first year there after just transferring from PK Young. Coached have definitely met him and seen him but no idea how much they are pushing him or interested in him or how high on the board he may be.

interesting prospect though. I like local guys with speed.

Maybe it’s a personality thing. It can play a big part for or against.

And everything may be going just fine right now if we knew what the hell was going on

Yea... we REALLY don't know what's going on...and that's on both sides of the equation.
An athlete can be a 5-Star yet not team oriented?
    Only the coaches know...really.

I think it's time we admit that we're not going to be competing for championships for a few years until something actually changes. Before anyone starts with that "We haven't played a game yet!" excuse our own coach said during his press conference this is a talent acquisition business. All the coaching in the world won't matter if we don't have the talent.

At this point it's either the staff can't recruit, the administration isn't committed to winning, our boosters are too cheap or some combination of the 3.

We're literally seeing the exact same results now we've been seeing the past 8 years. At this point it's becoming wash, rinse, repeat.

And if you think I'm wrong I challenge you to provide examples of how things are different right now.

Predictably seeing bad shit in the future. Can’t you wait chicken little until we see what the class looks like. Melting down in June is beyond juvenile.

To date, you are correct. However, I'm willing to wait until this current recruiting cycle is complete before I will pass judgement. There is still time to turn things around and we are going through a period of watershed changes in the recruiting environment, so things being somewhat up in the air shouldn't be any surprise.

I think gatorzilla just might be correct, at least concerning this year. If we wind up in the top 10 in recruiting with no position gaps, I e tight end and WRs with real speed, I'll be delighted but I'm not expecting it this year. I'll also not be too disappointed if UF loses 4 or 5 games this year either. More than 5 losses and I probably won't look for UF to contend for any championships for at least the next 2 or 3 years. I'm not bashing anyone at UF now, but I'm just trying to be realistic and I don't want to set myself up for disappointment either.

I think there is a reality we have to accept and that this recruiting is a very different animal with NIL. At least when this cycle ends we need to be heading in the right direction and hopefully look back on the season reminiscing about a few really great victories.

How do you all feel about our staff? CBN brought 5(?) from his U of L staff. Is that a detriment at the moment? I would recruit against that if I were at georgia or alabama.

I really hope we do not take a back seat to scUM.

I’ve never expected to compete for titles in the next couple years regardless. I’m thinking of the class around 10 above that is a little disappointing anything inside that is great

I think it depends on who you are looking at. I think there was direction he wanted to go that did not work out but his fall backs were quality guys. I think Sale and Juluke could have gone in different directions. I’m sure both are quality coaches but there are obviously younger more dynamic recruiters at RB coach we could of gone with that are about to clean our clocks on that front. Sale honestly just looks like Nap’s version of Hevesy with the exception that he actually gets guys drafted and someone else was interested in hiring him. Overall I like the staff. I will never understand why we keep trying to Seider as a TE coach.
