Since we've gone there now thanks to you, Gillum would still be a better governor even while sitting in a Federal prison doing coke rails off the buttocks of a male prostitute

Its usually true that the only crimes the FBI can solve is the ones they create themselves

From a quick read, it’s a 21 count complaint alleging that he made false statements to the FBI in connection with the DOJ’s Tallahassee corruption investigation (Count 1), and that funds (including grants and political contributions to his gubernatorial campaign) were obtained under false premises by, or improperly diverted to, a company owned by one of his longtime associates, and that a portion of those funds were then given to him for his personal use under the guise of being salary or contract payments (Counts 2-21).

Gillum wasnt cut out for politics, if he was a conservative, he'd say his crimes were the elites trying to bring him down and win primary after primary and eventually pardon himself

That’s Count 1, which is his part of the Tallahassee corruption investigation that already has a number of other people in federal prison. The charge against him is lying to investigators about whether he accepted anything of value. The rest of the charges appear unrelated to that investigation.

The remainder of the charges are that he and an associate diverted funds from grants, his campaign, and his PAC to the associate’s company, and then paid a portion of those funds to him for his personal use by disguising them as salary.

Hmm. So process crimes? I thought only republicans got in trouble for lying to the FBI. Thanks for summary - easy to understand.

Good to hear Gilliam is going to “continue to fight for the people and hopefully he can do so while spending many years in a jail cell. What a piece of crap.

Spoken like a true left wing fascist, who suckles at the teat of left wing media outlets.

It was known that the FBI was investigating the Methhead, gay pornstar banging Gillum BEFORE the election but the left wing fascist media covered it up.

Now that the fascist left wing media can't influence the election, they elect to report it-finally

    "Entrapment"? ROTFLMAO. But carry on.

All Floridians should be overjoyed that this scumbag was defeated at the polls.

If he committed crimes, he should suffer the consequences. It would be great if our governments started applying the law equally to everybody.

You're arguing that the media didn't report on Gillum being under investigation while he was running for office? L-O-L. Honesty really isn't your thing, is it?

Gillum up to his eyeballs in FBI investigation

I might be "overjoyed" that Gillum lost if he hadn't lost to a wannabe authoritarian doing his best Viktor Orban impression who has repeatedly violated Floridians' constitutional rights during his time in office.

Huh? The story coming out during the election is probably the main reason he isn't governor. Also, no one should take anyone who uses the term "left wing fascist" seriously.

The process crime is certainly one he’s got a tangled mess in.

It looks to be primarily that he lied to FBI investigators about whether he received things of value from someone, and when he claimed that he stopped having discussions with that individual when the individual suggested that donations to Gillum’s gubernatorial campaign should influence Gillum’s vote on Tallahassee development projects. As I read it, the person he claimed never gave him or offered him anything of value, and that he claimed he stopped talking to when they offered to bribe him, ultimately turned out to be an undercover FBI agent, so the FBI definitely knew those were lies.
