I think it’s definitely weird and could be construed as inappropriate because it will make some people assume the worst. But showering with your kid is not sexual abuse unless sexual abuse actually takes place. I think our resident righties are trying to conflate the two.
I knew a kid in my neighborhood growing up that breastfed until he was three years old. He told me that he preferred one of his mother’s breasts over the other because the milk was sweeter. I’d file that under the same type of weird and “inappropriate.”
Or if you are poor… or if you are like everyone who’s kid sneaks into your bedroom on the middle of the night.
There is as much veracity to this as there is that Trump won the 2020 election. This thread should be locked and the OP banned.
I have him blocked but took a peek in incognito mode to see what was said. Dude is still quoting me and responding despite my block. lulz
My post that you replied to has been removed. The post that I replied to is still there. Makes one think about whether it’s worth it to keep paying for the premium membership.
He didn't shine as mayor either. He's super book smart and speaks really well, but doesn't have the common sense to solve problems. The West Side residents of South Bend despise him.
well it is kinda weird the FBI would raid someone looking for a diary. Doesn’t seem very fbi worthy. Especially if none of it is true. But whatever.
He remembers that from age three or I wonder if that's what someone relayed to him over the years? I don't think I remember anything that far back. I don't have kids and don't know what's typical and what is not. Personally, I've always thought it odd when people let their toddlers run around naked or take pictures of little kids in bathtubs. Even in commercials when they show babies' bare behinds, I wonder why. I've never assumed there was anything sexual intended by it; I guess people think it's cute up to a certain age and not sure at what age that stops being acceptable.
Seriously? It is theft of property from the Presidents family. Being a diary which is inherently a private document, all kinds of potential for blackmail if it were a foreign actor. Instead it seems you have political activists hoping to use the daughters diary to embarrass the president. That isn’t much better. They need to get to the bottom of it if a crime took place (I.e if someone was paid off, or illegally accessed the room to take it). Even though the object itself is seemingly trivial (a diary), the underlying issue actually is national security. If a potential crime is committed against someone under secret service protection, no matter how small that crime is it’s pretty much defacto a federal case. This means FBI or secret service will investigate. If it was some normal person that had a diary stolen the local police would probably laugh at this, it’s really only an issue because it’s the President.
I have plenty of memories from when I was 3. I remember racing out to the swing sets in pre-school because they were first come first serve. I remember my teacher calling me off the playground and asking me to lift up my shirt to see my chicken pox and then calling my mom to come get me. But to your point about toddler bathtub pics and naked kids - totally agree. Different people have different thresholds for what they are comfortable with and there is nothing sexual about it.
ok. I thought they had already established it had been left by Ashley at a halfway house after rehab. Maybe not. Haven’t followed it too much.
Maybe. That was the story (not that Project Veritas is trustworthy, so I would take their version with a grain of salt). I haven’t followed the details either, just that of course the feds would be the ones to investigate. Just because it’s left behind doesn’t give people free reign to transact (I.e if you left a wallet behind in a hotel room, the maid is committing a crime if they start using your credit cards and cash… it isn’t first come first served to take your property as you obviously didn’t intend to leave it behind). A burglary isn’t necessary for the theft to be a crime. With most property, if it’s left behind in a room and you take it (vs. turning it to lost and found) that is pretty cut and dry theft. Normally a diary would have little or no value and obviously no police is going to follow up to investigate on petty things left behind (even small valuables), so obviously this type of theft probably isn’t often prosecuted unless the thief is brazen and immediately caught red handed. But if serious $$$ changed hands in this case i wonder if it could actually be felony? A payment would establish that it had value on the black market and that the thief was fully aware it had value. Supposedly $40,000k was paid here… so…
Damn right. Picking up a Presidential family member’s diary is bad form in politics. The opposition should get a 3rd party to make up shit and pay for it like a good capitalist. Well done, Hillary.
I agree 100% about the toddler in a bathtub pics....However those do make great blackmail material when they get to the age where they start dating.
