If I was a top player and had any sniff of interest from the top payers (UTex, ATM, Bama) I would definitely put them on my public “list” whether I was interested in going there or not. It might just spur the teams I did like the best to step up their offer. Its just bizness, ya know.

This kid really has his head on straight. I hope we can bring him into the fold.

Reading between the lines I really think he wants to go to Florida. I think he wants to make sure it’s the right choice though and he is not just picking from the heart. Trying to be analytical about it, but hopes it’s Florida at the end. I might be reading way too much into this and what he has said in the past, but I feel like he is hoping Florida is the right choice for him.

Refreshing. Smart, humble, emotionally intelligent. Wish we could get him.

I will be shocked if he doesn't go to uga. dad went there, they are a revolving door for RBs to the NFL. Us, not so much.

I had expressed disappointment but was thinking about Cedric Baxter.

Perhaps Haynes to georgia would push Baxter to UF?

Would Treyaun Webb to UF affect Baxter's decision?

Personally, I see a Baxter and Haynes 1-2 combo at Uf.

CBN might change this. Seems like his offense is RB friendly. Hopefully they can sell that.

But I would not be the least bit surprised if Webb turned out to be the better running back. Kid runs hard

Baxter is fast and all that but can he consistently get 4 yards between the tackles?

Waiting to find her next RB with vision, balance, cutting ability and instinct. Obviously need an OL to help as well

Absolutely. Was actually the best tough yardage guy I saw live last season. Had to grind for all his yardage vs an elite Apopka defense

Baxter is definitely a power back. He and Webb are very similar. I like them both but hoped we'd have a thunder and lightning combo at RB. Not so sure that either are that fast. Webb gets run down a lot in his clips. Haven't seen 40 times for either back.

All good points, and I might add that he is a shifty runner too... All of these traits makes Baxter a must get back, IMHO.

You might be right Bobby, I don't know. But I do like Webb's listed size and he must have some real ability, being listed as an APB. Probably has good hands? If he really is already 205lbs and we "have to" settle for him as our RB, so be it. But yeah, I would really be impressed if staff lands both.

We have four talented running backs on the roster right now and your guess is as good as mine as to which one is the best

Do we appear "stacked"? Bowman for all his talent is still listed in the low 180s. He's probably not going to scare big RBs. Is Lingard a SR? I'm too lazy to pull up our roster. I love Quan and hope Montrell Johnson gets there. Two of our RBs will likely be gone after this season(Lingard/Wright)?
