I had at least four Dem primary candidates above Biden. Would love to have Mayor Pete in the seat, but it's a bit of a long shot at the moment. Maybe one day, but he checks so many boxes, most importantly the practical intelligence box.

When Trump decided to run they decided that perhaps it really didn't matter considering that not only didn't they criticize Donald Trump they actually endorsed him.

Pete was my first choice. I think Klobochar would have been fine but I questioned whether she had the personality/charisma to be electable in the general. Apparently the Black community was very key in the reason Biden got the nod, and I don't think that would have ever happened except for the fact that Obama picked Biden, trusted him, and they seemed to be close. The VP position is more important/powerful in some administrations than others, but Obama obviously saw something in Biden that he liked.

Everyone that knew about the diary thought it was authentic last year, before the bottom article was written. This first link gives you an idea when I knew about it, shortly after September, 2020.

Back in September of 2020, Project Veritas reportedly got the diary from Harris and a friend of hers. How this transfer took place is still being investigated.

Biden the fall guy for Obama? Biden has his problems, of course, but Obama was a two-termer with relatively few "scandals." Even if you think Biden is screwing that up, as many, do, he did get elected, which seems the opposite of having taken a fall for Obama. Like I said, I do believe that without Obama, I don't think Biden would have ever been nominated as the D candidate in the first place.

 

I think it’s fairly nuanced but I agree with @danmann65 to some degree. Don’t get me wrong, if you treat a kid poorly it will affect their outcome but treating two kids the same won’t get you the same results either. Heck.. look at the Biden boys. Mr. All American great guy who passed away and Mr All About Me who can’t kill himself no matter what he does.

 

I agree that all of my kids are impacted differently by my parenting and at different levels. They are however greatly impacted.

 

Anyone that voted for Trump the first time should have known exactly what they were voting for. He screamed it at them every time he was in front of a camera. For anyone to have voted for him even once, and then be surprised that he was in fact the loudmouthed POS he'd always acted like, really strains credulity.
