Biden would have never been elected were it not for the fact that his opponent was an even worse alternative. If nothing else the last two presidential elections have demonstrated that it's time to time to change the process by which presidential candidates are nominated. Will probably never happen since the same elites who would be responsible for changing the process are also the ones who benefit from the system in its present form.
