Come on man. This isn’t about what Lebron can or can’t do. It is rumored that he refused help from Lebron, but other wealthy people like Mark Cuban have tried to help him. He always ends up back on the streets.
Some, and I am not singling him out specifically, prefer the street life. They do not want to have the responsibility of having to work (show up), maintain a residence (keep it clean, pay utilities), nor manage themselves. They prefer to live off of the likes of the Salvation Army and other charities. A relative of mine worked for several years with the homeless. Some wanted a path out. But far too many refused to make the decision to change their behavior.
I know you are right but dang I can't help to feel so bad for the homeless. I'm the idiot that always gives a few bucks out the window. It's not my job to judge how they got there. I believe in always giving a hand up. They may spend it on drugs, cigs and liquor. Not my job to judge.
Nothing wrong with being compassionate. Just saying let’s not put this on Lebron, directly or indirectly. I’m not judging Delonte.

That’s not what I am saying. We should all try to enjoy our lives, and I certainly hope that you are enjoying yours. Mental illness is a horrid and insidious disease. We all need to have compassion for those who have it.
