Positivity rate in Florida is back up to 20%. Trying to figure out how to keep my immunocompromised, unvaccinated, anti-mask sister and her unvaccinated Baptist pastor husband from visiting my 91 year-old father in PC.

LOL, like there was any data anywhere saying it saves lives by masking 2-4 year olds. What a joke. The WHO for 2 years has said to not mask young children. One of the most stupid things from the Covid nutjobs.

Again, Zero reason to vax kids if they don't have underlying conditions.

new tests for T cells to determine immunity being developed. currently available in Europe

How strong is your Covid immunity? A blood test could offer some insight (msn.com)

Previous studies have found that T cells can recognize all the known variants of concern, including omicron, but Guccione said it's an active area of research. The scientists are continuing to refine the test and are studying how well T cells are responding against different variants.

"The data coming out so far are very encouraging," he said. "The good news is that we develop immunity against multiple proteins from the virus, and many of them do not tend to be mutated by the variants."

Tests to detect T cells have mostly been limited to labs for research purposes, and the process is usually expensive and difficult to do on a large scale, Guccione said. The new kit, however, is designed to be used widely, and results can typically be delivered in less than 24 hours, he added.

It is crazy that people actually think these vaccines will stop one from spreading the current variants and want to negate spending time with family. If one’s risk tolerance is that once community spread reaches a certain point then we shut down our family visits…okay. But to inject vaccination status at this point just confirms how powerful propaganda is and how people have lost the ability to analyze what is happening.

As often has been pointed out, it is not just about deaths. But I don’t see vaccinating young children as particularly urgent either.

just curious how many children deaths would be needed to support vaccines?

Well, obviously if it isn't 100% effective, we are better off not doing it then subjecting our children to governmental overreach!!1!

As a reminder, here is what the Governor said after he had the state order 1 million doses of a drug with no clinical trials showing that it was successful:

Only kids who should get the vaccine are those who have underlying conditions. And they have no real data showing it works on kids that young. Otherwise it's stupid to get it for kids that age. But I know you don't care about that, only to attack DeSantis. Seen this show before from you.
