Personally I love that CTV is parked in so many heads. I love his passion. I don't want to see either of my teams swept but I fear UT is going to do just that to our Gators. UT has no weaknesses.
Isn’t their number one pitcher out this week? After that shot no way they should throw him for this series. Don’t they have another big time pitcher that just returned and is on a very limited pitch count?
Someone artistically creative should make a sign for Friday's game that looks like a Where's Waldo design with Vitello's face on it. Maybe make him look like he's wearing prison fatigues.
lol, whose head is he in? I couldn’t care less what TN baseball does and I said he was a good coach, outside of his name being mentioned here he doesn’t enter my thoughts pretty much ever. I just think his personality type is ultimately self destructive, and comparisons to someone like SOS are just dumb. SOS was the opposite of that. But it’s like you think there is some misplaced jealousy here over a baseball coach, when in reality it’s just an acknowledgment that your coach is a dick, win or lose - plenty of losing coaches have gotten similar treatment on this site, including your old coach who has an honorary sewage plant, whom UT fans loved for his similar lack of impulse and “fight”, at least right up until the day the guy we told you was scummy left in the middle of the night after one year. So good luck this weekend and the rest of the year.
Think its TBD.. But Tidwell may be available for extended work this week. Didnt see if pitched tonight. Started last Tues, 1 inning 3 Ks.
Secrist done for Week as he went 4.1 so he’s at least out for Friday and most likely Saturday. 3-0 w 1.79 era and lefty so that’s a big one. Dollander- still looking like no go this weekend but haven’t seen anything ruling him out. Bigger question is Barco for us as Tennessee has plenty of pitching.
In the end they had the exact weaknesses pointed out in this thread, however good they were. Bit I’m sure, just like in football where every year it’s the vols year again and they are running around talking trash, that next year the vols baseball fans will have had their volsheimers kick in and they will be certain national champs again. Maybe next year it will finally happen. But it likely won’t until Vitello learns to run a program that knows how to act like they’ve been there before and not spend all their emotional energy on things that mean nothing. And that starts with Vitello.
