I know this thread might sound early, but we started summer workouts last June 18th, which would be less than a week away. I wonder how similar these workouts will be to prior years under White and Billy, especially the strength and conditioning portion. With Preston Greene gone to Miami (ugh), I wonder what we can expect from Victor Lopez, Golden new S&C hire. Regardless, it will be exciting to get our first glimpse into next year's squad, despite maybe CC (shoulder) and Jitoboh (eye) still recovering from their injuries. Not to worry. CC's bad shoulder was replaced with a new titanium one, and an additional eleven inches of length added to his arm. He'll be a shot-blocking machine come the new season. JJ's bad eye was replaced with a new one equipped with laser sight and radar, and a micro-processor implanted in his brain so that he can range-find any shot distance with precision down to .01 millimeter from any point on the court. He can also burn his opponents with the laser. It's going to be awesome.
Bet he still can't dance though. Golden seems like a guy who leaves no stone unturned. Especially when it comes to measurables.
I'm disappointed you forgot the three most important changes that Golden has made. First was the improved shoe contract to add Flubber in the Air Jordans. Second thing is the jetpacks all Gator players get to wear to help control the Flubber bouncing. Third, and most important, are flipping the cameras. Oh wait, I guess I really am dreaming since I mentioned the cameras.
The Holy Grail is the greatest piece of British Culture ever made for popular consumption - Better than the Magna Carta, better than the Beatles, better than "We will fight them in the fields............we will never surrender"
thanks for posting... Sounds like he has a sergeant's mindset, wants to be in the trenches with his team to build cohesion. I love it.
I'm stoked for football and basketball - This new infusion of coaches and passion has me excited! I think coach Golden will make us all happy with the new direction. I sure like the roster, it has every indication of being a significant improvement from last years.
