On 247, little bro' Umanmielen has five teams on his interest list, including UF but they're all listed as "Cool." Makes me think he's going through this process in a very stealthy manner. We might not know anything unless he plans a visit. If he is going to visit, he would come when he can watch his brother play. Might explain why there are so few highly rated edge prospects on the Gator board.

God knows there must be dozens of chop shops for Bentleys around the port in Columbus.

I’ve been struck by how few of these recruits list FSU even when they are only down to a large number of schools, like 10. It is unbelievable how far they have fallen off. I don’t see how things can get too much better for them in the immediate future.

I’ll say this; they play hard for Norvell, ill give them that. The issue is they lack top end talent something serious especially at QB. They need a QB who’ll cover up their talent deficiencies. If they had the UCF pre injury McKenzie Milton, they win 8+ games last year. They’re aQB away from REALLY turning it around but they’re sooo far from that

I don’t know. Their o line coach is pretty good but their o line talent (minus new guys from last years class) is still bad. No talent at WR. In the acc a good qb would help them immensely but that roster keeps getting worse, not better.

Well conversely it's bothersome to me to see Miami mentioned in so many recruits top schools when they were so close to falling off the map.

They are definitely in the conversation. Curious if that will change with their benefactor under investigation.

Benefactor under investigation? Please expand, as I’m not sure I’ve heard or read on this news. TY.

Short version: Miami has a billionaire alum (a lawyer, I think) who has been quite publicly throwing around NIL money, including bragging about it on Twitter. He's now being investigated.

Is it really breaking news a recruit is down to ten, yes ten, schools? Who cares... at least when they are down to top 3 or something it may actually matter.

To be fair, he is not under any actual investigation. A law firm who is looking / fishing for anyone that may have been harmed by (financially) the launch of the spac is not anything that impacts UM or Ruiz. It is not like the SEC or FTC or any actual regulator or legal agency is investigating. This is more like a law firm looking for people harmed by asbestos. Means nothing.

My hate for Miami is immense, but that headline/story is total clickbait.
