No matter where he’s been, and where he goes, Coach Grant will always be a part of “ OUR FAMILY”. My heart goes out to his family, I can’t begin to imagine their loss. Prayers to the our family in Dayton.
Trying not to get Too Hot, but that was never considered when they decided to make all those Draconian steps to solve the "problem". Isolation was going to be the big negative. And I understand that there may be a large group of young kids whose mental development has been irreparably harmed because their time to read people's faces was halted from all the mask wearing. Truly short-sighted decision-making.
IMO, you spend all your effort on who exactly is the most vulnerable and isolate them from the rest of the population. Then you fill in with more vulnerable (diabetes, obesity, pulmonary issues) and figure out effective therapies. Lastly, you try to educate the population as to effective ways to prevent their spreading to the most vulnerable. Children of all ages were WAY down the list.
That is heartbreaking. Having 2 myself, I cannot imagine losing one of them or one of my grandkids. Awful to even think about it. But suicide is far more prevalent than back in my day. I cannot think of one single person from high school, college or 20 something in my wide circle of acquaintances who committed suicide. I do recall a secretary who worked where I did back in 70s, but I didnt really know her, who did so in her 20s. There is a missing message to youth in our country, whether it be in elementary school, high school or even college........each one of us is uniquely made, crafted by God to a higher purpose than just existing for ourselves. We have a purpose. We are not animals, nor derivatives of beasts. I hope that the Grant family find peace in Him.
Prayers to Anthony’s family as they try to go on in life! When my father died unexpectedly early, I was in a daze for at least the first year, going through the motions of life.
Take the Covid garbage to another board. This thread should be for AG and his family. Can’t imagine what they are going through.
