Gave my tickets away to some kids we know. I was going to attend, but forgot that today was the day our house cleaners show up and my very territorial dog would be a big problem if I wasn't home.

No, you're right. It is a Gator hitter tradition that soft-throwing left handers give them fits. Just too slow to hit.

 

Uh, is anybody else getting weirdness from the ESPNU audio feed? I had it muted while I was on a call and when I unmuted it was a quiet Spanish conversation.

And now it's back to the game. Huh.

 

The secret is to throw strikes as far away from the bat as possible.

Also I just wanted to comment on the fact that it looks like we have no fans support. The whole point in building this stadium was for games like this in June. This is when our team needs the fan support. My hope is that we realize this sooner rather than later and begin planning a better roof. And whoever made the call on the current roof or shade structure, or whatever you want to call it, needs to be canned. OK rant over.
