Well, I tried to tell everyone to not get their hopes up and still got hit with a “come on man”. I guess I will go back to keeping my thoughts to myself.
Don’t go overboard because of an emoji. Personally, I don’t use them. If I disagree with you, I will tell you why in, hopefully, an intelligent way. Same thing if I agree with you . We need a solid big who can play the 4/5. I expect Golden to deliver.
If a single little emoji bothers you that much . . . you might want to at least lurk and see how many we all get. Good thing @fee is not over here or the bacon would be flying like elsewhere. LOL!
How could the replacement of Mike White with Golden scare a recruit off. Reed was never fully on board, and was looking for a way out which the case with most of the people who end up in the portal.
Scared off probably isn't the right terminology, but with Alex Fudge transferring to UF, Reed had to know that he would be sharing playing time with 2 other solid players at the 4. Golden got Fudge to commit, so, indirectly, Golden cost Reed playing time. I don't consider that scaring someone off. Even if Reed were to be the best of the 3 this coming season, he would be sharing playing time with the other 2.
Reed was crazy not to want to battle Castleton in practice every day. That is where he would have gotten better in year one. Spend more time practicing than in games. He got some bad advice there. Not to mention the poor academic standing of LSU.
both have already transferred once. so if they try to leave again, they would have to sit one year. i think this is something that's being lost in the new transfer era. it will smooth out, the first year was just a little chaotic.
We were the only program Efe did not visit of those named finalists. Can’t like them odds. Visits are usually telling. Much like those that think we have a chance with Manning when he has visited other programs on his list 4-5 times and has never stepped foot on the UF campus
No one thought we had a chance if he didn’t visit. But we did doubt the certainty of those who insisted he hadn’t visited. The kid is currently in-state and isn’t very active on social media, while we have found a way to sneak several guys on campus without much attention.
