We have the same opportunity as any school willing to pay. I hope I'm just behind and out of the loop because it doesn't feel as though we are as prepared to sign NIL deals as these other schools. I have this odd thought that some schools and alumni might want to continue UTBBTS deals so that they don't have to divulge to other players what they are paying some recruits. And even if obvious and in the open the NCAA is probably just so completely out of sorts on payments now that it just doesn't matter. A kid drives a new car, parents get a cush job, and player has a bank account but what's the NCAA going to do, review NIL deals and track the money? No chance.
And they’ve never had access to bank accounts even if they wanted to check. It’s a lost cause at this point
Maybe you invest your millions frivolously but our boosters as well as others around the country do not. I know I wouldn't drop millions without seeing the program move in a positive direction. There is a reason Hathcock donated now and not during previous regimes.
Back to running backs, let's not forget that Etienne is due in August. If he shows early on, there will be less fretting about RB recruiting.
Geez, How many top flight RB's does IMG have for the class of '24. They have the #1 RB Gibson ( who I hope we get back) also got #2 RB Gage and Rod Gainey who isn't showing a rank but I imagine he's high too if he's at IMG. 3 highly ranked RBs for next season.
