Don't mean to come off as limp wristed or weak...but nothing scares me about this whole sordid affair, quite as much as a destabilized and splintered Russia. We've negotiated 6,000 nukes in our single enemy's possession for 30 years and counting...and developed a comfort level... 6,000 warheads divied up and in the hands of various new sovereigns... ...scares the shit out of me.
Good article. From the article: I calculate that the surveillance area of the E-3 extends about 195 miles from the aircraft, assuming it can "see" an equal distance in every direction. I doesn't seem likely that an E-3 on the western border of Ukraine could see what is going on at ground level on the eastern side, where the fighting is.
Thanks for the expertise, guys. So the next question would be what is the solution? Mobile radars? Scout drones? And are these things that have been sent/are available?
Morale of the occupiers is not so good maybe. Have to wonder how hard this guy will fight and how quickly he might surrender.
Who said I wanted them to reach their objectives? was just saying they needed to on their end. I'm glad they can't seem to learn from their mistakes. Less Russian soldiers to fight if they're at the bottom of a river.
