You didn’t go to Guam with your dad? It's a small island, but I enjoyed my stay there. Being a military family, San Diego is a great place to live. Most of my extended families still live there. Just like everyone mentioned, it's too expensive to live there. My nephew and his family already went back to NAS Jax. The other thing they were worried about is the coyotes roaming around their subdivision. I didn't realize how big those dogs are until I saw one up close.

Spent my last semester at UF doing independent study in San Diego (mission beach) many years ago and have been back on vacation. Beautiful area and my favorite big city in the country. No offense to anyone, but for me Pensacola wouldn't even be in the discussion.
The entire panhandle beaches are similar. I like Port St Joe or St George Island if I’m going to play tourist.
