    The ladies win their Sweet 16 match 15-10 over Jacksonville and will likely face #2 seed Maryland next. Another very good season, but seems like this is typically where it ends - not being able to beat the big dogs.

    Hope they come through this time. Go Gators!

    The early schedule is great. Conference to easy, become careless perhaps

    you can only play who is on your schedule, only vandy from the sec has lacrosse for women, where do you want them to go?acc and big 10 are full, travel is a consideration.

    This team obviously gets no attention for some reason - even in the rant posts about the overall sports program haha. The Gators earned an overall 6 seed but lost in the round of 16 yesterday: Comeback (and season) ends in Crushing, Last-Second Fashion - Florida Gators

    We continue to be a very successful program that comes up just short of being elite - how do they get over the hump? As I mentioned earlier I really just casually follow them and don't have much knowledge about lacrosse in general, but the sport is definitely getting more popular in Florida it seems. I know we don't really have a conference home; not sure how big of a detriment that is.
