If they take that route, it would seem to indicate that the Republicans commit voter fraud to the level that can change an election's outcome. I mean, we already knew that from North Carolina in 2018, but they are still at it? Why wasn't that investigated in 2020? Biden should have won by more?

Wow.... didn't even scroll down far enough to see this before I posted above. I guess Trump does believe that Republicans are committing massive voter fraud. Where's Rudy? Where is the Kraken?

It will be an elaborate conspiracy where Dems did it because they think Oz is easier to beat. Despite Trump, and by extension those he supports, supposedly being invincible. Ot it will be enemies in the party that now must be purged. Stalin style.

In addition to all his whining in 2016, he also started a voter fraud commission in 2017 claiming it would prove there were 5 million illegal votes in an election he lost by 3 million votes ... ... does that count?

SPOILER ALERT: It didn't find any massive voter fraud.

When all the absentee ballot counting laws were getting passed, there was lots of caution that it would create a hot mess wit delays. Stopping non existent fraud or creating it, hmmmmm

Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified.
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

The Voter Violation certificate gave poor marks to the unsuspecting voter(grade of F) and told them to clear it up by voting for Cruz. Fraud
    — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 3, 2016

Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud. Also, Cruz sent out a VOTER VIOLATION certificate to thousands of voters.

Let's take Trump out of this discussion for now because we can agree that he has blown everything out of focus. As we both know, it is the law that only citizens of the USA can vote in national elections. The GOP wants anyone who votes to have proved at least one time that they are a citizen, if not they should not be allowed to vote. They also want the voter rolls cleaned up regularly so dead people aren't counted. The democrats don't like this for some reason, so they call it voter suppression. Big cities like Chicago have been run by democratic machines for years using these tactics like dead people votes, ballot harvesting and just plain buying votes. Just about every discussion on voter fraud was based on this theory before, but then they added mass mail in balloting to exacerbate the situation more. Easier to cheat and much harder to prove someone did. Many believe that cheating occurred on a large scale, but no one can prove it, so most clear-headed republicans let it go, but decided to clean up as many voting laws as possible. So far, that seems to be working. By the way, prior to Trump, can you name a single case of a national election challenge from a republican? You have to go all the way back to JFK vs Nixon, and while some voter fraud was discovered, Nixon did not challenge.

You have to prove you are a US citizen to register to vote (even in places with universal registration). So that is accomplished without any change in law.

Great, all you need to prove then is you are who you say you are by having an ID. Simple solution, right?

You often have to do that to register as well. Your solution disenfranchises a portion of the legal voting population that you claim to want to vote. Why would you promote a solution that disenfranchises some of the people that you claim you want to vote?

You may be right. But where are the mindless claims from the right that it is a conspiracy to defraud (place the name of your favorite candidate here)?

So how hard is it to get an ID to register/vote? Can’t register the day you vote? Jawja allows you to vote with a public utility bill. With all these grassroots workers like Abrams getting out the vote, why is ID such a difficult endeavor?

Varying depending on the laws associated with getting one and an individual's circumstances. For example, take Alabama:

What Effect Will Shuttering Alabama DMV Offices Have on Black Voters?

    Or Wisconsin:

DMV Roadblocks Could Disenfranchise Voters, Report Finds

    In most states, no.

Only absentee (which they just restricted):

Georgia Voter Identification Requirements | Georgia Secretary of State

Because grassroots workers can't issue IDs.

Closing DMV offices only effects blacks?

    Roadblocks stopping blacks “could/maybe/might”

Because grass root workers can help folks get ID?

To get a Free ID in Jawja:
    • Documentation showing the applicant's name and residential address
    • Expired licenses can be used
    • Voter ID and ID cards are issued free

    • So how is getting ID hard for blacks and why just blacks?

"We believe there is voter fraud but can't prove it. So let's make it more difficult for our opponents to vote!"

Despite no validation of voter fraud, 33 voter restriction laws were passed in 19 Republican controlled states. I'm confident none of these rules restrict Republican voters more than Democrat.

Exhaustive fact check finds little evidence of voter fraud, but 2020's 'Big Lie' lives on

19 states enacted voting restrictions in 2021. What's next?

One can only believe the pretext that these laws were in response to recent fraud if it benefits your tribe.
