Tell me how football games (we had to postpone a basketball game) kept being cancelled with well over 90% vaccination rates…

These drugs did not work as advertised!

Is there any evidence you would accept as proof that the vaccines are effective?

OK where you are wrong is in asking on a message board. I think a good trusted medical provider is who you should ask. I talked to my doctor and my kids pediatrician. Both trusted and both said for both me and my boys the shots were safe. One said she wasn't sure how effective they were(this was almost 2 years ago) but any protection was better than none.

Doctors 2 years ago will be treating completely differently.

That said. Almost two years ago there were no vaccines to access.

Which gets to doctors one year ago would also be treating differently when there were vaccines available. When I went in on the back end of the delta surge in Florida. My doctor said I was low risk and the only vaccine he had confidence in was Moderna. Will not speak for him now. But I have a good suspicion on where he would be…

Sure, if the data showed the likelihood of dying of covid was the same with or without the vaccine, I would find that convincing evidence that the vaccine was ineffective at preventing deaths from covid. If the data showed that hospitalization rates were similar between vaccinated and unvaccinated, I would find that convincing evidence that the vaccine was ineffect at preventing hospitalizations due to covid. If the data showed that infection rates were similar between the vaccinated and unvaccinated, I would find that convincing evidence that the vaccine was ineffective at preventing infections.

What would you accept as proof that the vaccines are effective?

Since the vax rate in the US was 60% in Dec. ( after football) and is now 78% (one dose) and 67% % (fully vaxed on May 15th), where does 90% come from?

Poster's facts do not work as advertised. LOL

Who and what is the vaccine for?

I don’t get a flu shot. The flu is not that dangerous to me. You might have a different risk tolerance. Honestly…that is a really similar comparison. Minus the flu is more dangerous to younger people than Covid but also dangerous to the elderly. Covid is absolutely more dangerous than the flu to certain groups.

This is about risk tolerance and confidence. I have little trust in these drugs. And the disease is not dangerous to the young and healthy. I would be far more inclined to get a flu shot which is maybe 40% effective. But I don’t do that. If I was 70 in January of 2021 and had not had Covid…I would have gotten the Covid shot. Today…not so much.

At the end of the day…these shots are for those who have low risk tolerances. We have seen enough evidence to know they do not slow or stop spread. There are enough examples to show that. But if you want to think a 6 month old needs to be jabbed. Or a young healthy person. With an archaic drug…we disagree.

if the premise of getting the vaccine, multiple times in fact, is to prevent you from getting covid, and yet you do, how is that vaccine effective?polio was wiped out because the vaccine worked, same with measals, so why is this rushed to market vaccine not working?

You understand most of these teams had over 90% vaccination rates when the cancellations happened? The NHL had every single player except for one fully vaccinated when they shut down. These cancellations were not because of the general public. They were because Covid was spreading inside the almost entirely vaccinated team.

Poster has really hard time understanding reality. o_O:cool::confused:

What would you accept for prof that these vaccines are not effective?

Shutting down a league that has every single player vaccinated except for one is solid evidence for an ineffective drug. Our Gators had to cancel a basketball game this season. Pretty sure the team was fully vaccinated though I don’t know that for sure. Plenty of other examples. Along with in your community. No way you only knew unvaccinated getting Covid. Too Hot itself is an example. Plenty of fully vaccinated getting Covid.

Carry on…the evidence is there for you.

Yeah. Shutting down for Covid because populations that are alimost 100% fully vaccinated is a representation or a working vaccine.

    Okay…

The propaganda has blinded so many. Then you add the pride of not willing to accept it and we are where we are…

The damage to public health is palpable!

He already answered your question in post 36,566 (despite you refusing to answer his question, which he posed prior to you trying to answer his question with a question). How about you answer his question or admit that your belief isn't falsifiable?

There is no strong evidence that a young healthy person is at risk.

Still doesn't answer the question. The question was what you would accept as proof that the vaccines are effective. Please answer that question, not the one you would have preferred somebody ask.

When the likelihood of dying is basically zero. There is no need. That is not the case for everyone. But there are a lot of people with very little risk.

If your risk tolerance is low enough you want to keep boostering with these drugs. Go for it. Depending on your situation it is likely unnecessary at this point. When they finally get a new generation it might be more effective.
